Police reveal financial picture of slain lottery winner
I'm going to email the lottery on the rules about winners.
They definitely release your name, and from there it takes no effort at all for a predator to find out where you live. I just googled myself and right there is my address, age, income for any louse to use against me. Can you imagine if all of a sudden your name is in the news as the new multi-millionaire???
I think you need to have a certain mindset if you win big money and don't want to become a victim. You almost need to enter a

Which states and lottery games will you play once online gambling is legal?
Pre tests are a part of the security function of the game to makes sure no tampering of the balls has been done. It's not so much a big deal about the machines malfunctioning. Pre tests are audited for security purposes.
You propose for them to just release sets of balls for a drawing without doing any security measures. I can here the frigging phones now about how come peoples numbers didn't come out and there must be tampering of the balls.
You know full well why they do pre te

Alabama woman gets money back from lottery scam
An Alabama woman recently got $16,800 back after a joint U.S. and Canadian investigation into fraudulent telemarketers who represented themselves as lottery officials.
The Alabama resident, whose name was not released, got her money back on May 14, according to a press release from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
A multi-agency U.S-Canada initiative called Project COLT was responsible for helping return the money.
Many variations exist on the lottery scams, according to

Maddogs Powerball Challenge 5/12
Thank you Konane and Sully16 ! !
RE I know the Powerball numbers are supposed to be randomly selected, but 4 numbers in the 50's and 3 next to each other???
If you've played Roulette, you know there's the dealer's signature. Think that's what goes on with PB? Anyone speculate why it takes FOUR practice draws before the main draw? Yes, I know about the explanation of testing the machine and the ballset. Who pushes the plunger to release the balls into the tube?
just questioning

Texas: 5/1 - 5/31/2010
Yes,for Monday, however in order to make my pairs more accurate I'm going to have to incorporate the pre-draws into the main data of the QED algorithm...the problem is they wont release the pre-draws until after the drawing which amounts to cheating as far as I'm concerned...
That GLITCH in the system is where one of those very long lost missing sums had hit in the pre-draws thus screwing up the system..
You cant run accurate data unless you have all the information and this is where the st

N.J. school board member claims $211.7M Powerball jackpot
There are some states that won't allow you to claim your winnings with a blind trust. Not sure if NJ is one of them because I couldn't find that information on their website. However, I do know that Pennsylvania won't allow you to claim winnings with a blind trust.
In purchasing a Lottery ticket, the player agrees to comply with and abide by the state Lottery Law and related policies. The Pennsylvania Lottery s long-standing public disclosure policy preserves the integrity of the Lottery

You can't be born on the same day in different years anyway. Impossible.
That would cause a cataclysmic paradox that would open the portals to Hell and release a couple of my ex-mothers in law.
That would be the Seventh Sign of The Apocalypse right there brother.

Virginia man claims $200M Mega Millions lottery jackpot
For anyone who is in California, after a Google search I finally found this information at their calottery website regarding anonymous claims of lotto jackpots:
Can I be anonymous when I win?
California state law requires that the California State Lottery to release the following information: your name, and the name and location of the retailer where you bought your ticket. You may request no media coverage aside from that.
I was hoping winners could use a blind trust, however th
