Experiance is the best teacher but daily numbers sometimes dont allow us to spend a whole lot of time learning . Thanks onlymoney, I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, with a fresh reboot after each reinstallation however only the Ver 3.0 that I found will work. The exe I DL'ed from his site continues to give me an error. I've re-downloaded the file just in case the DL was corrupt but I'm still getting the same result. Are there big differences in Ver 3.0 and 5? I'm mainly looking to use the followers portion. Thanks

It will save you a lot of trial-and-error later. It's free and the best solution -- can't beat that combination. Even Mac users need to think about virus protection these days. Hopefully Microsoft will come out with a version of Security Essentials for the Mac.
