Maryland Lottery machine glitches frustrate players
The Florida Lottery has this section below on the newer thermal paper tickets. I'm sure they won't mind if I copy it here. BTW, look on the home page. They have a poll asking how gas prices affect buying lottery tickets. Wonder if someone at the Florida Lottery reads Lottery Post!
How To Care For Your Ticket
Keep your Florida Lottery tickets cool and dry. The Florida Lottery s new On-line game tickets are now printed on a high quality thermal paper that will not fade when exposed to

Global Warming & the Lottery
Your statement is tantamount to a medical student saying that there have been many plagues throughout the history of mankind (which is true) so why should we care about AIDS, Tuberculosis or Avian Inlufenza? Diseases are natural too, but don't we try to find a cure or prevention? Sure only a 7 degree difference can cause an Ice Age, so then the slightest change in global temperature is very serious. In fact, the one degree mentioned can have a dramatic effect on life in many regions and alre

illegal immigrants poll
Hey Rip, at least your ancestors were wealthy enough to have owned something. On the other side of the family some of mine were sharecroppers.
Hey, but don't forget the baggage of karma we bring with us from lifetime to lifetime to work on until it's worked out and we learn our lesson and move on to the next one ad infinitum.
However that's the beauty America where it provides people the opportunity, not guarantee, to improve their lot in life.

quick pick or your own numbers
I agree. For the purpose of this poll, I would think that the definition of a "quick pick" would include all of the examples you listed. Any non-analyzed, randomly generated combination that you play would be a "quick pick." So you're right - "quick picks," when lumped together, would greatly outnumber "selected" numbers.
However, if you're looking at sales data provided by a state lottery (e.g. the data from the Florida Lottery that I posted earlier in this thread) to try to determine

illegal immigrants poll
I believe that immigrants of any kind are not required to pay taxes for up to 5 years of residency here in the U.S. I maybe wrong about this. But, many years ago I remember having a discussion about paying taxes while I was working. One of the nurses who had been bought in from another country to help fill in the nursing shortage at that time, spoke up. She was interested in knowing about paying taxes for future reference. It was then that I learned about the tax requirements. I'm not sure if t

Do You Think You'll Win The Lottery?
GREAT POLL - SIMPLE ANSWER
Of course! EVERYONE should believe that they could win! Otherwise purchasing a ticket would be a mute point. Yes, the odds of you winning are tremendous but if you didn't think that you did not have a chance of winning you would not purchase a ticket (I hope.) If you didn't think that you could win you wouldn't check your numbers. The one thing that ALL winners have in common is:
EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM
BOUGHT A TICKET!!!
Let's keep playing!!!

Jackpot
First off, hello to everyone........
My answer to the poll at hand is that I would definetely stay anonymous if ( and that is an extremely huge if) I was to ever win the lottery. I would do three things only: 1) Thank God for the blessing, 2) Donate some to my church, and 3) Make sure that my family would want for NOTHING!
It sure would be nice if it was to happen, but there is nothing wrong with having a good fantasy once in a while.
Good luck to all on this system!

Strange Fights Between Members
No, Lucky was an innocent bystander in the Who's your favorite poster poll. (which was done in defense of my complaining about the other poster) The culprit is me Tenaj who constantly complained of one poster's excessive posting that pushed other posters off the board (which is not the first time we've had this forum issue) and their campaign to convert everyone to their system while declaring in their blog that one particular poster's system was crap and if you use it you will lose. And th

5/35-1/25 type jackpot game
Posted by Greg: Yesterday, 2:58 pm - IP Logged Once everyone STOPS playing PowerRipoff and MegaRipoff, for at least 3 months, the lottery powers that be will abandon these games with no money coming in OR offer a 5/35 game with a bonus ball field of 1-10 for those of us out here in Lottoland who would be happy with a jackpot of $25.mil. and MORE concerned about a number field that is REASONABLE and somewhat PLAYABLE. It would have been real nice, L.Mike, if you could have given me credit, for t
