Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
The Measly Millions has rolled over(#21) once again, which is a good thing for all MM players. The projected new Cash Value increase from the previous draw is $8.6 Million. That is down from the previous increase of $8.8 Million on 5/29/26. *See attached link for Cash Value increases/decreases. Numbers don't lie folks. https://www.texaslottery.com/export/sites/lottery/Documents/jackpotestimates/mm20260529.pdf With the recent poll taken on 5/08/26, A resounding 80% of voters opte

Annuity or Cash Value
Certainly cash value for me because that is the only *real* number. And, I am not a spring chicken any more... And, as always, I fervently hope that the guy in Washington D.C. would issue an executive order making a mandatory interest rate of 0.00% for all lottery annuities and removing taxation for all lottery winnings, forever. That would end all of the foolishness about many people not understanding how the interest rates affect the advertised annuity value vs cash value jackpot amou

Annuity or Cash Value
2 primary items are of concern for this participant when it comes to the choice of going with the C ash value vs Annuity . 1) Taxes 2) Age I know that the 37% tax figure will be addressed this year just 1 time and no state income tax. There are no assurances that my state(TN) couldn't implement a 1 time tax similar to what CA WA states are proposing or start a state income tax. I have no idea what the Fed tax rate in 5, 10, 15, 20 or 25 years might possibly change to either. https:/

Arkansas lottery winner of $250.8 million Powerball jackpot claims prize
P.U.!!! What Stinx????? Speaking of Ark P.B. jackpot winner and liverwurst sandwiches my state megabucks game was 14.7 mil / 10 mil cash for tonite ..... no winner but here's the interesting thing ..... Monday nights jackpot is 14.75 mil / 9.99 mil cash .... Of course these were all projections but why the reduction of the cash amount from Saturday to Monday when the annuity had been raised? I think the answer is partly due to the amount of 2nd prize winners on Saturday night ..... t

Lucky For Life to Millionaire For Life - $5 Ticket
I re-did the calculations and it's the typical draw game, in terms of payback %. But it is still far better than MM, in my opinion. Here's why: Probability of winning the top prize is just over 12 times better. $18 million (or the annuity of $1 million/year) is still life-changing money. M4L (Millionaire for Life) has no silly multipliers. You win exactly what it says on the prize chart for matching x number of balls. MM (and PB) is a progressive jackpot game, which is why it can

Arkansas lottery winner of $1.8 billion Powerball jackpot comes forward
For arguments sake let's say no one won pb last night .... and both jackpots rollover and over and over again ..... when would pb surpass mm on the road to a billion plus jackpot? Based on the recent runs that got big it would probably take about 7 weeks for PB to get bigger than MM, if they're about 210 and 270 at the same time. PB was at 207 on 10/06/25 and 5 weeks later it was at 490. MM was 277 on 8/29 and 5 weeks later it was 520. After 6 weeks they were at 570 and 575. After 7 weeks P

"I can't believe it!" North Carolina man hugs store clerk after winning $2 million prize
He was presented with the choice of either taking the one-time lump sum of $1.2 million or annual payments of $100,000 over 20 years and chose the lump sum. After federal and state taxes, he collected a total of $864,126. I think it would be great if the prizes shown on scratch off tickets are the Lump Sum. If it's 2M thats what it is then take off taxes. Looks like everything must have an annuity version to make the prize look bigger and appealing. Congratulations on the win Sh
