POLL: Best entertainment at the Institute for the Lottery Insane
When she is the number caller on WGN-TV she is very upbeat. (I think that's what Rick G said! Hi Rick!) They broadcast them at 12:20 AM and 9:22 PM. If you're on the national feed you don't always get them.

How would you allow yourself to change if you won?
I think I would certainly change if I won. I would be responsible with my spending. Also, I've been known to be generous in the past... I've been burned too many times by friends that just use me so I would cut all that out. I would donate to my favorite organizations; however, my friends can sit back and admire. I would help my family out a much as I could. I would get a better apartment (yes an apartment) and finish up my BS in Meteorology next year. Then I would get a job as a meteorologist (

NYS Lottery Drawing now live online @ 11:21 PM
Thanks for the heads-up, that's awesome. Here a direct link to the live programming page on that site: http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/livenow?id=6887790 This is exactly what the state lotteries should all be doing: streaming of the live drawings to the Web. Wouldn't that free up all those expensive broadcast costs they always complain about?

Hep me!...Hep me pleez!
In order for that to be available, the MUSL people would have to stream the video to the Web an idea I have been writing about for a couple of years now but streaming is a lot different and more complex than just posting the drawing video after the fact. I'm not aware of any government lottery the streams to the Web currently. I really hope one of them tries it, and shows how it can significantly cut down on TV broadcast costs and take away one of the oft-used excuses for moving to computeri

Dateline NBC, Sunday May 3, Lottery clerks Who Cheat Players
Hey Coin, is that going to be a new show or a recycling of the E! true Hollywood Story curse of the Lottery, where Robert Sehested almost got taken for $500k from a clerk when he was told it was only a $4 dollar winner? It was In Camarillo CA and they only found out by some video that was sent out to find the true winner. I hope its a new show. Everyone broadcast the same lottery shows since as early as 2002. There have been many winners since then, many Non- Anonymous winners to build a show ar

Tenn. Lottery CEO blames lagging sales on Powerball
The other thing to keep in mind is that noticably absent is that she does not blame the economy . Why? Because almost every other state lottery is booming right now, with many having record years. The poor economy actually helps lotteries, but for some reason only Tennessee is particularly bothered by Powerball . I hope the governor and legislators and lottery board are all asking hard questions and demanding adequate responses. WHY doesn't she spark sales by switching to real drawin

N.C. Lottery conducts first Pick 3 Midday drawing
The North Carolina Education Lottery on Monday launched its second daily Carolina Pick 3 game. Drawings are now held at 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday, in addition to the existing 11:22 p.m. drawing, held every day including Sundays. The first winning number for the afternoon ( midday ) drawing was 672. Players have been asking us to add another drawing, so we expect it to be good for sales, lottery director Tom Shaheen said in a statement. Increased sales should mean more money fo

Newspaper editorial in favor of authentic lottery drawings
The TV stations might not want to bid to broadcast the lottery drawings, but I'm sure at least one in each market will want to be the Official Lottery Station that shows the draws while the other stations must make due with a pop box on the screen. If none of the media wants the draw it isn't shown there, too bad. Shouldn't cost any more then what they're showing now, except for paying the model, the studio should already be part of lottery headquarters or someone messed up again. BobP
