How is it that being in a Lottery Pool where over 6000 tickets are purchase and you can't even score 2nd place winners.. I wondering just how random the Mega Million and Powerball draws are.. Yes I know someone can walk in and just buy one ticket and boom - just wondering out loud... asking for a friend - thanks

all depends on size of pool, of course, more people, more tickets, but main idea to play NOT quick picks, like every work pool playing in the world and winning once per 100 years. i know for sure its a way to print custom tickets for each member of pool on home printer within minute(s), so this is no problem. how to play - anybody can introduce own way to play - with system, big wheel, etc, as long as members like it they can join. has to be clear to understand of course.

I was in a similar type pool that was $5 a drawing and when the jackpot reached a certain level, QPs were bought with part of the pool money. The guy running the pool gave us a list of the 30 participants and the six numbers each of us played. Nobody thought about the legality, but I'm guessing because the NJ pool is government employees, someone got ticked off and told someone they knew working for the Feds. Despite knowledge of the pool and how it works, everyone who spoke with the Journal
