Jack, I've been following your posts with regards to celestial events and lottery draws with great interest. Now my interest has been rekindled and I've been trying to find my old notes to resurrect this idea which would be much simpler to handle with Excel, and far less time consuming....I put together a system back in 1985 based on numbers drawn within so many days of the full and new moons. Thanks, Just6ntic, I appreciate the feedback. I was thinking along the same lines. At least if you get the 3 right you'll get something back with the chance that if you get 4 or more right you still have a chance at the higher prizes or multiple 3's. I like the even spread it gives from your number pool. You don't get that with random selection from the pool...sometimes it pays off and other times you get burned. I have this convience store near my house and there the only ones with every instant ticket available and they also have 2 lottery machines. let me tell ya a little story i am married to a number i like 1730 it has never hit. Every time i see those numbers show up in the history of the last 4 or 5 draws i buy multiple tickets. I ask the sales person for 1 dollar box and 5 dollars straight. She gave me i dollar straight and 5 one dollar box tickets. i told her to cancel out the box tickets and give me 5 tickets straight for a buck. Well the number hit but it didn't hit straight so instead of winning 600 bucks i only won 100 bucks. Any
