Predicting Numbers
I think the predictions is a form of release to get a sense or feeling of getting the numbers out, playing for fun, and winning, although not for money but bragging rights. And one way to hit is to cover many states with many numbers. I play the P4 for real in one state, because the placebo don't cut it for me. I do like the challenges on the jackpot forum, 'cause it is 2 national games and the experience can be applied to real playing. JMO

The JP and fast food
I think it's more like instead of trotting the animals off en masse to a slughterhouse they take them aside one by one and pet them so they don't know what's coming. The theory is when animals are led to slaughterhouses en masse and they know what's coming, they release toxins in their bodies that wind up in the meat we eat. This difference in processing is one of the reasons Kobe beef is so expensive.

NY Lottery says it goofed: Mahopac winner got $31 million after taxes
The New York State Lottery has acknowledged that it made a $14 million mistake when it announced the amount of last week's Mega Millions award to a Putnam County man at Grand Central Terminal. The winning ticket bought by William James Albertson from Mahopac actually brought him an after-tax prize of $30.7 million. At the big announcement, presided over by Lottery Director Gordon Medenica and Lottery announcers Yolanda Vega and Ralph Buckley, Lottery staff told reporters that Albertson would

Lottery Post announces Lottery Results Gadget for Windows Vista
@sysp34: Your comment is not correct: btw the LP gadget won't work on Vista unless the Microsoft launch SP3 in the future to add the sidebar. I think you have a few things confused in that sentence. I think you meant won't work in XP . The other thing is that Microsoft will NEVER release a Sidebar for XP. The only reason they're doing another service pack is because they ran out of serial numbers for the last service pack. Not to add features.

POLL: Low profile or flaunt it?
Most people will not bother you if what you have for financial wealth was actually earned by you. If you win a large amount on the lottery, most people will assume that you dont deserve it as you didnt earn it and you will be pestered more often. There was a tv show about this a long while back. There was a different post ..back on the 1st or 2ns page about when you win, the press will know and there goes your privacy. I've read some legal measures that you can take where you create a tru

Jackpot winner says business as usual at executive assistant job
I didn't get that impression from this article. Was this written on another thread? Sounds as if she didn't even realize she won until she saw the news release. To me that's very strange. Why buy a ticket if you aren't going to check the number right after the drawing? I know people who pile them into a sewing basket and check them every few months. Doesn't make any sense to me. JAG, I agree that most people will eventually leave their jobs, but unless she's hassled by her coworkers, I d

POLL: Low profile or flaunt it?
I'm already practically a hermit, so I'd just continue my same habits. Though Washington State does allow people to claim a jackpot in trust, they can still release the names of individuals named in the trust and require them to appear in a press conference. If the jackpot was big enough, they probably would require the photo session. In that case, I'd try to lie low until I got my money, then go get a facelift, breast lift and tummy tuck. And then move to another town. By then no one would

Tenn. Lottery players complaining over switch from numbered balls
The lottery (Tennessee Lottery) claims computerized drawings are exciting , although player polls suggest that any excitement from lottery drawings comes as the result of seeing real lottery balls being mixed in a spinning drum and drawn one at a time both of which are missing from computerized drawings. Because of the Ohio Lottery, state representatives and state senators had an additional $646 million to put into the state's educational fund in 2006. I seriously doubt they would risk
