What made the drawing so special, IMHO is the amount of comments that came on LP. Todd correct me if I'm wrong but memory serves it was the sheer volume of commenters. Now perhaps lottery fatigue comes in to play.

I didn't win anything. I had 7 lines as per my rule(1 line for every $100million of cash) and didn't match a single number. I also have tickets for Pick 4 and Pick 5 and it seems the website and app for the Louisiana Lottery aren't working. I bet they've been crashed by everyone hoping for the billion.

I think having personal wagering rules is a great way to approach gambling in general. Just as good with lottery games as it is when going to a casino. It keeps you from making bad impulse judgments on the spot. Of course, everyone's rules should be personalized so it balances your fun with your own spending limits.

I actually like this strategy with one modification. If you're going to hunt straight repeats, download a copy of the draw history from the Virginia Lottery site and search to see if that straight has ever repeated before 2 days. If it's right on the exact number days as previously, that's a Sync and is the basics of what I do. NOTE: The above strategy is for STRAIGHTS ONLY. I don't know about combos.
