Just goes to show the whole business about the scratch ticket prizes being distributed randomly is total a B.S. LIE !!! How on earth could any lottery official know a winning ticket was in a shippment to a particular store ??? HE KNEW !!! HOW COULD HE KNOW??? THE WHOLE ROTTEN SYSTEM IS BASED ON A FALSE PREMISE OF RANDOM DISTRIBUTION !!!This is not the story it seems on the surface. It is proof the whole innocent act is bogus, they decide who, when and where winning tickets go any time they wa

Wisconsin Lottery switches to computers to select winning numbers
yes. before PA finaly drew a triple and a quad in their mid-day drawing, there was a lot of speculaton as to whether or not their mid-day drawings were rigged. with computerized drawings, integrity and fairness of the drawings will come into question, especially when there have been states that have released their results too soon, and take a long time from the cutoff to draw the numbers. i should hope that powerball or mega millions never sinks low enough to go to an RNG. the MUSL already does

winning ticket
There is a big difference between using computerized random number generators to generate 'ticket numbers' versus using them for the 'actual lottery draw'. I don't see any way that drawings such as the current Powerball set-up could be rigged. Using mechanical drawing machines in televised drawings, being closely monitored as they occur and even offering invitations to the general public to go to Iowa and participate in witnessing the live drawings...it's about as honest as one can possibly get.

netherlands lotto Question
Just curious,I am currently here in the Netherlands. I have been playing their lotto since Feb. 04 every Sat. It is about 14.5 mil Euro right now. It takes matching the first 6 number balls and the one color ball to win the jackpot. It moves up very slowly. At this rate it seem as though their lotto will go once a year! Do you all think this lotto is rigged? Also, what do you think accounts for the slow rise in the jackpot every week? For this country to have the oldest lotto in the world it sur

Ohio - 07/16/2004
ONEDAY,We cannot say with any degree of accuracy that the games are rigged. It sometimes happens that very strange number configurations occur after what seems to be unusually high pay outs. They probably just got back over two million on today's midday alone. One other thing is that they are promoting the pick 3 game at this time with red ball next week. This, more than likely, means total sales are way down and they take it out on the most common game. And that is the Pick 3 game. Popular

One ticket wins $290 million Mega Millions lottery jackpot
Quote: Originally posted by LottoLin on July 03, 2004It seems like all the winning Mega Million tickets and even the Power Ball tickets are sold on the east coast. I was standing in line in IL to buy a ticket a guy told me not to bother, he said they have it rigged that the Power Ball and Mega Millions jackpots will have the Big Jackpot winning tickets sold in the eastern states. It sure seems that way in the last couple years. But I'm still playing both. If I don't play I can't have a chance to

Are Lotteries Rigged
This is good question? Good subject! It appears to have been on the table of this board for a while, so why not express yourself and not get fancy with...fonts...etc...KISS. First of all, I have a vote of MABY? Maby, it is rigged. At least we can answer, anyway we choose. The big bubble gum of the 2000 era has come, maby gone, but not forgotten. DONOT want to name any of those, BIG accounting firms that certified the books or inspected the balls the board members who left with millions. I assume

Number Systems and statistics.
Ok, I've already conceded that the lottery is not controlling where winning tickets are sold or what numbers come up in the drawing in the Are lotteries rigged thread. However, one point is that the lottery claims the number of winning tickets a location or store may have is generally reflected by volume of sales. This doesn't only apply to jackpots, but any winning ticket. Certain retailers have sold several high value winning tickets while the majority of terminals sell none. When a ga
