Post your scratch ticket results
Thanks. Same to you. I know someone else hit $250 on a $20 next to work. I also know the big spender got a $20 pack and bought 5/6 at a time. Nothing over $40. Usually all $20 packs have at least 1-$100 winner, so they do seem bad unless you get that lone $250 ticket... Saw the article on the main page about privitization. I think long term it will be bad, but I wonder if short term they put some good wins out to convince people otherwise.

Pennsylvania Lottery privatization Q&A
Looks like Dan answered the second part farther down the article. Probably because that part of the question deals with revenue which is his area of responsibility. Bottom line for this lottery as well as any lottery is to bring in as much money as possible. Lotteries are not charitable organizations. As to whether this would really increase revenue, I have no idea. Apparently they think so or they wouldn't be trying to change.

How lottery winners spend their money
I think some areas tax certain homes that have very high values with a luxury tax. Just looked it up on wiki and they agree. This article also says high value cars can have a luxury tax.

Possibility of Mississippi lottery worries Arkansas lottery officials
Interesting that the article made no mention of Arkansas dollars going to Mississippi casinos. Mississippi should get a lottery, they already have casino gambling. I guess they're following the Nevada model.

Why Not Converge PB and MM Into a Super Lotto For All States??
Referring back to the April article on a new national gaming system, this would involve the voluntary cooperation of the states. No one needs to go to jail, except the occasional PB haters for refusing to pay for their tickets.

IMPOSSIBLE PWERBALL TICKET!! please see
I think I would've asked for another ticket....This is strange... Did anyone ever see the article about the lady that purchased two tickets with 10 quick picks on each and the quick pick numbers were the same on both tickets??? I forgot which lottery is was for, but both ticket quick picks had the same set of numbers!! Makes me wonder how these lottery machines actually generate the numbers....last i read was the lottery commission were investigating....

Why is it the mid west, south, and east coast have winners?
April as LP article indicated. If you check the CA website it reflects the same thing. I begged the MUSL to give me a few more months before CA joins and hog up all the jackpots. They agreed.
