Mega Millions lottery game's redesign aims at bigger jackpots, better overall odds
We have a wide range of predictions on the new MM.
The current MM has about 12 winning jackpots per year.
These are the predictions I've seen of number of jackpots per year for the new MM:
Ronnie316 - 1
haveagreatday! - 3
chuck32 - 10-11
Based on the numbers, I predict 8 jackpots per year for the new MM.

$360 MILLION: Powerball jackpot raised on huge sales
First of all, that number is plain wrong. There's no way 70% of all jackpot winners go bankrupt in 5 years, unless you count slot machine jackpots, jackpots
from illegal casinos etc. Most real lottery jackpot like PB, MM, EuroMillions etc (Let's just say 1m+ jackpots after tax and lumpsum amount) winners wouldn't
go bankrupt in 5 years. Or else that woman who won 10 million in the Super 7 (canadian lotto) and lost it all in 10 years wouldn't become news.
But I'm not so much again

Florida Jackpot Winners
Looks like more jackpots have been hit. Wasn't there 2 Green and Gold left? Now down to 1.
Power 8's got hit 0/5
Miami Heat down to 1/3
Gold Rush doesn't have a * but I hear it's going to be reprinted and Jackpots added.
There should be some regulation, I don't understand how all those games were retired with remaining prizes and new games are still on the shelves that have 0 jackpots left, like Black and Golden Goose.
Now newer games coming out, I won't play those, The odds didn

A Lottery Curse
Jon D
According to the TLC show The Lottery Changed My Life there are about 1,600 Millionaires pumped out by lotteries every year.
I find that a little hard to believe. Powerball and Mega Millions tell us they pay put 12 to 15 jackpots a year. For the last two yeard Illinois has paid 11 jackpots each year in their Pick 6 game, which is drawn three times a week.
Using those examples and figuring 40 some lotto states that wopuld come to about 473 jackpots a year. That does't include scr

Multi-state lottery jackpots near $100 million mark
The Powerball and Mega Millions lottery jackpots are now both nearing $100 million.
The Powerball annuity jackpot went up to $95 million ($46.1 million cash option) last night after no one had a ticket matching the first five numbers 4 17 35 50 57 and the Powerball 12.
Surprisingly, no one in any of the 41 states where Powerball is played, plus the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands, had the first five numbers to win a second tier prize.
Mega Millions has the bigger jackpo

Dual multi-state lottery sales may keep jackpots lower
The increased chances of a winner will go hand in hand with bigger increases from one jackpot to the next.
As long as the odds don't change we can (still) expect a long term average of one winner for every 176 or 195 milion tickets sold. Of course few of the jackpots that are won are average, and changing the number of tickets in a drawing will change the likely results of *that* drawing. When the jackpot is still relatively small the chance of a winner will still be relatively small, so we c

Pretend one or both of the sitiuations is happening to you
unlike other wheels the wheel i created 10 years ago will get 2 or 3 jackpots out of 5...It will get like 5 to 6 jackpots out of 10....
but i got rid of my wheels...Since i was so ahead of everyone plus i couldn't afford 2,200 dollars i got rid of my wheels...
But that's not all, like 3 years ago i bought a system on ebay for 9 dollars...The owner of the system didn't know what he had in his hand...Anyways, his system is VERY lethal but only when played in large amounts...His system will g

His and Hers: Wisconsin spouses win identical lottery jackpots
This couple won't have to argue about how to spend their lottery winnings. That's because the Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, husband and wife each won their own $350,000 jackpots in this weekend's SuperCash state lottery.
Lottery officials said Verlyn Adamson bought his winning ticket at a Mineral Point gas station and his wife Judith bought hers from a convenience store in Barnevald.
Verlyn Adamson is an accountant who says he's a big fan of math puzzles. He claims he developed a secret formula
