Why so many Unclaimed Jackpots for Mega Millions and Power Ball?
Soooooooo it looks like most of the jackpots in the last 6 ish months are still unclaimed... For powerball there are 5 (granted one was just one last night) and 3 for mega millions. Based on that we should have a jackpot this size once a year for Mega Millions. Powerball should have a jackpot this size once a year as well since the odds are about the same.

Mega millions and powerball get the public confused
I work with this woman who won on 3 white balls and the red ball for mega millions. She won $200. She only played $6 on computer picks. I told her that is pretty good. That isn't the confusion. Does anyone else hear this reaction? Two different lotteries getting people confused. Sometimes I wonder about that.
