Former MD Lottery employee pleads guilty of stealing tickets, cashing winners
Actually, it's not a confirmation, it's new news. The person has pleaded guilty. Previously, in the article from April, they were simply charged, but there was no admission of guilt. (See the link to the previous story embedded in this new article.)

$640 MILLION: MEGA MANIA!
You can thank me for that. No one ever used to mention that until I suggested it on Yahoo on a lottery article one day a while back. (I know this because my comment was the top voted comment out of thousands for that article). Now everyone suggests it, although I have seen some tell you to sign it after you win which is dumb. What if you lose your ticket or someone steals it beforehand?

New Help topic may help some IE8 users
I have posted a new article in the Help forum: https://www.lotterypost.com/help/236648
The article is for people using Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) who can't figure out why their browser isn't working right. (It's only for people who are having difficulties with their browser.)
The article gives instructions for a Microsoft utility I came across today that restores IE8 to its brand new condition, getting rid of all add-ons and customizations you've made to it.

Good article, but there was no Powerball drawing on Christmas Eve last year - Christmas Eve fell on a Thursday. The Christmas Miracle drawing referred to in the article actually took place on the day AFTER Christmas.

States with Both PB and MM
That article is a good article, but it isn't up-to-date. Idaho, Texas and a couple of others states, have recently decided to have both Powerball and Mega Millions. So, it is a good idea to keep up with the news stories that Todd posts, so you can see which states are going to offer both games.

Judge rules Washington lottery winners can't be anonymous
I guess the winners in that article were smarter in their approach. Instead of fighting to claim the prize normally and stay anonymous, the people in the article you linked to formed a corporation and had the corporation claim the prize. Those people did not waste tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees trying to fight the system. They worked within the system to achieve their goal.

Michigan lawmaker wins $2M lottery jackpot
What this article fails to mention is that this woman is the chair of a committee that has dealings with lottery and gaming issues! According to an article I read. Also it said that another lawmaker wants the win investigated.

Man arrested after snatching lottery tickets from player
So you read the article differently. And? It's an article and people commented and chose to focus on something else. It's not a big deal.
