As your screenshots show, the new site does get rid of a lot of extra stuff on the pages, like the hot icons in the forums, etc. In fact, the concept of rating threads from 1-5 stars has been eliminated. Instead, it only maintains the ability to up/down vote individual posts.
To be honest, I don't think too many people based decisions on the rating system. Players who do not create their own predictions go where the consistently winning predictors are no matter what the thread rating is. Wh
