Soaring Jackpots
I posted several post in 2005 and 2006 about whether we would see a $400,000,000 Jackpot in our lifetime. We've had 3 in last 2 years. I believe we will see a billion dollar jackpot by 2015. Its not a stretch right now to believe it, with Jackpots soaring. Its exciting.

Is it smart to spend more on extremely large jackpots?
I was thinking about this today before I purchased some tickets. When large jackpots come up like his one, I usually buy more than my usual number of tickets. As I was waiting to purchase my tickets, I thought maybe I should be spending the extra money when the jackpot is in the 250 to 350 million range. Considering that its been awhile since it got way up there on a consistent basis.Perhaps more States joining in will make huge jackpots a thing of the past or few far between- what is your take on the matter?
