Lottery scam victim, 78, becomes scammer, swindles friends
I get Nigerian emails pretty regularly. Not just Nigerian, but other African, Asian, and other parts of the world. I just ignore them. This scam has been around according to my research as early as 1920. Back then it was known as the Spanish Prisoner scam. Basically, someone of importance was imprisoned in Spain and money was needed to get him out. Of course, anyone who helped would be rewarded once he was released, but of course rescue after rescue failed and more money was needed. The requests

Gotta Read This!
Xandercage did right to give his advice and send the couple on their way. I've read about scams (peigons) that use this scenario to scam greedy people out of their money, an old couple walks up to a stranger and stupidly ask for his advice to cash a lottery ticket worth millions. If the stranger is greedy and want to share the couple's good fortune then he can become a victim of their scam.

I am physic but not a magician!
I'm glad you explained this scam so perfectly for everyone to understand.
Yes, it's a pyramid scam, and it is NOT legal. Pyramid scams have been under attack around the world. Lottery Post has documented several instances in the News section.
Who exactly enters you into a Florida Lottery drawing? You sure that really happens? Because I'm pretty sure it doesn't. It's another part of the scam.
Have you become a millionaire yet? I think you'll be waiting for that magic moment to happen for

Tennesse Lotto Plus= SCAM??
I would say that if we know they are 'just playing repeats', why not by tickets which are consisted of repeats? Figuring out it is a 'scam' would mean figuring out that it's not random. If you could prove it's not random, you could use the same proof to purchase tickets which fit within it's criteria and take full advantage of your findings. I would be THRILLED if I could prove any lottery was a scam...it would be much easier to profit from at that point.

Florida woman loses $40,000 in lottery ticket scam
Yeah, good thing the bank teller at her bank, where the tellers probably know her if she's a regular, wasn't being nosy (we don't know if they said anything at all) in this case (notice how I said this case ). They would have only saved this woman from losing $40,000 to this scam, but hey maybe she withdraws a large amount of money regularly so it wasn't a big deal, whatever. Maybe she deserved to lose it for falling for such an obvious scam.
