Virtual Theft
I am extremely pissed off today.
Let me explain what happened. Here is how the theft of the value of my scratch ticket went down:
Earlier today, after traveling to visit an office to sign some forms, I went to a convenience store in Andover, MA and bought one (1) scratch ticket in the value of $10. That ticket was a 100X ticket that was a winner in the value of $10. After buying the ticket, I left the store without redeeming the ticket. I then drove down the state highway (Rt. 114) to

Lotto tickets bought with bags of coins lead to bust in massive Metro theft
A long-running scam to steal thousands of Metro riders' fares unraveled this week after a man in a police uniform driving a Jaguar bought thousands of Virginia lottery tickets with bags and bags of apparently stolen coins.
A tip about the odd purchases led authorities to an extensive investigation involving GPS-tracked cars, surveillance videos from Woodbridge gas stations and money drops by an Alexandria underpass.
Now two Metro veterans, Horace Dexter McDade, 58, of Bowie, and John Vince

Iowa Lottery retail check finds no cheating
The Iowa Lottery said today it found no evidence that lottery ticket winners were cheated when it conducted security checks last month at 120 retail sites statewide.
Three lottery underecover investigators posed as customers and visited 126 randomly-selected Iowa retail locations on Feb. 24 and 25, said Iowa Lottery Vice President Mary Neubauer. They presented 128 winning tickets with cash prizes ranging from $1 to $100.
In every instance, the retailer paid the correct amount, Neubauer sai

I'm done playing the lottery
Artist77 said, ...allowing the country to vote on every trivial issue (i.e 6 billion dollars in overdraft fees) would be impossible...
Writing checks when you know you do not have the money to cover it is theft. A reasonable $35 bounced check fee is reasonable and not predatory.
The truth speaks for itself!
To her, banks stealing over 6 BILLION DOLLARS each year from it's customers is not theft and preying on low income families and minorities with overdraft fees is not predatory!

Florida bill would enhance criminal penalties for lottery retailer theft and fraud
One potential update involves expanding the law to allow sworn law enforcement officers employed by the Lottery's Division of Security to purchase lottery tickets and present them to retailers to claim a prize when it is necessary for undercover duties
Are they morons? Losing tickets are useless for enforcement purposes, most tickets are losers, and they'll have to pay retailers a commission on every ticket, so why buy regular tickets from retailers? If they want to check to see if retailer

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Ironically, I saw a few Publix stores having a roll of the $10 Holiday Gifts when I requested a report for all the rolls in the Jacksonville and Gainesville area. There's a good number of $10 Holiday Gift rolls out there, many of which are in the lower distribution number 60k . Are you still focusing on Super Millions? I hope you hit a $100k+ prize bud.
I sent an email to the lottery asking them to clarify what happens when rolls are deactivated/destroyed, and asked for information they
