I'm with you on this one. The people bashing the game were complaining about the low top prize cap. This game was never meant to compete with PB and MM. The whole point was that more people would win millions of dollars vs one person winning a huge jackpot. I have to agree. People should realize that the lottery is a sucker bet, and that most likely they'll never win a jackpot. That said, there's nothing wrong with playing, provided you don't get carried away with how much you spend. As for me, it's all about the chase. Here is a chart that shows the current Pick 3 games as of 10/06/2014 1:00 p.m MST with the longest digit skips by position. Digit Skips by position by state games. I highlighted in red any digit that has currently skipped over 45 draws by position. Ion Saliu's Degree of Certainty says an event with 1/10 probability of happening should occur 99% of the time within 45 draws. For 99.9% certainty 66 draws. So Texas combined is bucking the odds with digit 9 in position 2 missing for 78 draws.
