Arizona Lottery winners could soon remain anonymous
of course you agree. you are one of the sheep. we've had this discussion many times before. i agree with steve gallardo who should run for governor of AZ. you only agree because you think if you win you don't want to be harrassed. (legitimate point) however, interest in the lottery will wane if no winners are announced. that's half the fun, if you don't win, seeing the winners and how they handle it and watching them mismanage some of it of course. or if they actually help out their community it

Do you play draw games and scratchers or just draw games and which ones?
Hi Genome,
Like yourself I too would love to win any big prize (even a small prize I'd take). I wish our state would allow us to be anonymous but even so I'd gladly take the jackpot, lol. If I ever won a jackpot would only tell my immediate family and would seek out financial advice (getting a lawyer, accountant in place)before coming forward. Genome good luck to you.

If you did win the jackpot...would you let a store clerk scan the ticket??
EXACTLY !!!
But then again, I am also one of those silly wants to remain anonymous types!

Can you see yourself allowing someone to claim a lottery jackpot for you
Perhaps your reasons would be that you want to avoid the press and local please help me vultures or simply to remain anonymous in a State that does not allow it.
Would you entertain that possibility? I would with someone l trusted implicitly.

Post your scratch ticket results
Nice win. I do that with the symbol games. They all look alike, so i only uncover the words. That way I can trust what I am reading, vs the symbols that I am seeing. Co worker wanted me to pick up tickets for her with the coupon. She doesn't play. Went over and got her tickets and didn't get any for me. I feel like I am going through stages of Gamblers Anonymous. You see so much clearer when you get past denial of thinking there are winners out there. Good luck everyone!!

Arizona bill to allow anonymity for lottery winners clears panel
Michigan should go anonymous too.
The woman that won the $7.5 (19) Million MegaMillions jackpot 3 weeks ago let word slip to the piggery before she claimed the ticket and there were stories about her hiding and shutting off her phone on the local news here.

Someone just won 4 million on a scratch ticket from a gas station so close to me
Hi mightwin,
No in my state we cannot be anonymous. I saw a picture of the guy he lives in the western part of my state not in my town.

Maryland family claims $26M Mega Millions lottery jackpot
That house looks a lot larger than 4,000 sf from the picture. Nice house, but way too big for me!
I think all states should allow the winner to remain anonymous, but just let me win and I'll tell you how stressful it is to be in the news!

The Post Office AT T were offering people a severance to take early retirement, perhaps she is one of them.Nevertheless l hope they enjoy their winnings.
* Remaining Anonymous should be a choice.

I am still in denial, said the grandmother-of-two who chose to remain anonymous.
Very wise move!
