Problem with Private Messages
or those of you sending me PMs, know that I'm having a problem and cannot answer. I can read them, but in replying the message part of the message doesn't appear, and my browser crashes. I don't think this has to do with LP since I have no problem replying to posts. The error message I get is from my ISP. But since I can't seem to get it corrected, I just want you to know why I am not replying to you. Unless it clears up on its own, I won't be sending PMs.

Absolutely right. They were able to detect the error because there was transparency. They would have never detected any flaw had it been an RNG, they would have assumed everything was on the up and up, even when it wasn't. What they call the security that comes with RNG, is really just blissful ignorance.

It would cost them $47,366,193 to pay all of the tickets. They have to decide if that cost outweighs the cost of defending up to 600 lawsuits and the huge negative publicity. I wonder what they spend in advertising; paying on all these tickets would be a dramatic boost to their sales as others hope there's another big goof. Not paying will make not only the 600 or so winners very very very angry but trigger an unorganized boycott that may cost more in sales than what they save. It IS their error

If you don't get the drawing on TV and you want the numbers, simply go to www.usamega.com or go to www.lotterypost.com/results/il for all Illinois results. No offense to anyone posting the results in the forums, but I would never trust the numbers posted on a forum. Too much chance of an error. Get them from the lottery results pages here at Lottery Post, or for Mega Millions and Powerball results go to USA Me

Thanks for the notification Todd - I'm glad you were able to get everything updated ... I'm still having an issue though ... Firefox will not let me copy and paste on this site! I can do it just fine on everyother site .... just not here. I get an error message that says Copy/Cut/Paste is not available on Mozilla/ Firefox. But like I said ... that function works fine else where

I use the various tools/tips on LP and the different states history to get the numbers. The LP P3 and P4 deflate is a very good place to start. Over time when you work with the stats and study the trends you get a feel for the numbers. Sometimes you hit the nail on the head, sometimes you hit your thumb. It's all patience, trial and error and trying different things.
