Suspicious random number behavior
If the casino is honest, the test won't affect the wheel (how would a test affect the wheel anyway?) I'd still bet. RJOH is right about the martingale bet. It's been proved to be one of the quickest ways known to lose money. Of course, if I want to win at roulette I just strap on my portable prediction computer under my dinner jacket, ha ha! Guaranteed to give a 40% improvement over random chance (and maybe a few broken ribs if caught...)

"Add-On" Game.... Maybe it's coming?
Ohio will be adding K-I-C-K-E-R to its MegaMillions tickets when its SuperLottoPlus game is discontinued next month but it is not associated with the MegaMillions game.RJOh

Maddogs Powerball Challenge 9/7
Looks like the PowerBall challenge is losing some of its interest with MegaMillions' jackpot at $200M. Good luck if you're playing PB tonight.RJOh

$800 million
You'll going to have a long wait because at $800M, the cash value of that jackpot would be more than twice the odds of winning. That hasn't happen since that group try to buy all the possible combinations in the Virgina lottery some years ago. If there is a way for some investment group to invest $175M for a $400M payout in 3 days, it will be done.RJOh

Gap?
we;reallwinners,Actually I don't do any better than the average lottery players, but I did get lucky once and matched 5of6 in the State lottery which is not great for the number of years I've been playing. Testing and quantizing the effects of different parameters on the numbers drawn is part of the fun of playing lotteries for me and it helps me develop my strategy for picking combinations to play. I prefer to pick my own numbers although I have no proof that my numbers are any better than QP

need help
If the program that he's using doesn't have a routine to import data files, then he may be out of luck unless he can create a file that looks like the one the program uses. If the program doesn't use files with an ascii format that can be read with notepad then he's out of luck. Even if they can be read with notepad, they may have control characters in them that can't be seen with notepad. Some time you just can make or trick a computer program to do something it wasn't designed to do.RJOh
