So I just checked back to 2012. I won't break it down, but from January 2012 through this year so far, there were 56 Texas Lotto jackpots won. 41 were QP, 15 were SP. 73% of the jackpots won were by QP over the past 10 years.

A better gauge would be win ratio, not total number of jackpots. Indiana was there from the beginning whereas the other states like NY, CA, FL joined years later. EDIT - Figure out when FL joined and add up the jackpots from that starting point.

Think FF5 players in Florida aren't aware that Saturday is the day to play due to large jackpots? The 570 was already planned about half a day before they had the final total, and they probably have a policy of never changing the initial amount once they make a forecast. I suspect that typical jumps between jackpots will be smaller now that there are 3 drawings instead of 2.
