Staten Islander revealed as winner of $85M Mega Millions jackpot
Looks like she took her time getting her affairs in order before claiming. Smart, though too bad she couldn't remain anonymous. Bankrupt Queens parking attendant Juan Rodriguez had the winning ticket in a $149 million drawing in 2004 -----I always wonder what happened to this guy.

$337 million Powerball jackpot ticket sold at gas station in small Michigan city
is it public information about all winners who won 2nd and 3rd prizes in PB and MM? So, for example, can you stay anonymous for 1 million dollars?

Iowa Lottery releases names of 'Shipping 20' Powerball winners
Which part was incorrect? The Shipping 20 has the right under Iowa law to ask for an injunction, That the examination would substantially and irreparably injure any person or persons. but they would have to prove that AFTER 18 of them got out of bus wearing matching tee shirts and had their pictures taken. I'm not saying a judge wouldn't grant an injunction, but what they did isn't my idea of people wanting to remain anonymous.

Exploring Popular Conspiracy Theories!!
Apparently no comment from the GA Lottery Commission. Someone must have leaked this rumor from within internal ranks. Wonder if this is the next step for a more proactive lottery system, to head off any attempt of players to remain anonymous?

Quaker Oats workers claim $241 million Powerball jackpot
Since day one, everybody knew a group from the Quaker Oats shipping department won the jackpot and now that they had their picture taken, most of their identities are probably already known. They might not even know they won't get their checks until some court makes its final ruling and because we're talking about Iowa law, it could go all the way to the Iowa state Supreme Court. If I was one of them, I'd volunteer to sign the ticket, let the lottery publicly disclose my name, get my money, a

LP and the Lotteries
I would never suggest that there has never been LP jackpot winner. The majority of the membership supports remaining anonymous so I would hardly think a winner would come on here an announce his or her win. It would be cute to discover that they are actively discussing on threads of their windfalls - lol. We don't know each other from the moon behind the screen names and posts for the most part so I could be the man from the mars for all anyone knows. I promise to change that though if I do win.

A trick to remain anonymous?
The real trick is remaining anonymous after getting the money. Do you really believe your family and friends won't notice you quit your job, bought several new vehicles, a new house with brand new furnishings, and the obvious change in lifestyle? I have altready thought about that, I would claim to be investing in the stock market and realestate and claim to be getting really good at it

$102 million lottery winners - 17 years later
A perfect reason why all states should allow you to remain anonymous. Threats of violence and kidnapping. Glad everything worked out for them and that they have been able to stay together.

Six $1M Powerball tickets claimed by one Arizona winner
With millions of PB and MM players and the number of yearly jackpots won, how can anyone expect to win either game once? I'm sticking to my story; the reason the guy wanted to be anonymous is because all six tickets had the same five numbers and the same bonus number.

Six $1M Powerball tickets claimed by one Arizona winner
hmm... didnt realize AZ allow anonymous collections. 6 tickets... 2$ per ticket = 12$... if they had purchased 4 tickets w/ PP it still would have cost 12$ but they would have had 8M$ instead of 6M$. I guess if he had hung up with a smart crowd like us winners at LP, he could have been $2M richer.
