Opinion of Local TV Lottery Drawing?
IMO, our Illinois drawing show on WGN seems kind of dated, especially with Linda Kollmeyer doing the show for 20 years. While the State changes lottery managers due to poor performance, the drawing show continues unchanged. The national MM and PB seem more professional. So, what do you think of your local state Lottery Drawing TV show (including Illinois)?

I follow you lottometro on the fact of filling out propoerties on game board for extra chances to get a seat in audience for game show. i have been playing small amounts thus far for the game like 20 bucks per week now and for first game show drawing i had 123 chances and still got no seat. i now have 18 for second round based previous final holdings of properties after first drawing for game show and first new drawing since then and BTW i picked a few sets of numbers like since second drawing a

Has something changed with MegaMillions?
Up until August 15, 2008 more than half of every Mega Millions lottery drawing repeated a number drawn from the previous drawing. In the 25 drawings leading up to August 15, a number was repeated from the previous drawing 18 times. In the 25 drawings since August 15 a duplicate number has been drawn 3 times. A 5+1 match would be significant, but there's nothing amazing about a 5+0 match. The odds that one specific drawing would have a 5+0 match with another specific drawing are 1:3,478,761, but that isn't what happened. I run several pools. One group of 15 put up $3 each for every drawing of Mega Millions. One group of 22 put up $1 each for every drawing of Powerball. In both pools small winnings are reinvested into extra tickets for the next drawing. When either jackpot gets over $100 million, I open up additional Special pools that non-regulars and the regulars can jump in and out of.
