9-17-2018 American Greed Tipton Fiasco Segment
Watching this Tipton American Greed segment was somewhat like watching a Better Call Saul episode . . we already knew the storyline and how it turns out. Looks like potential random-number-generator security deficiencies will ALWAYS be a possibility! Kudos to Iowa Assistant Attorney General Rob Sand, who prosecuted the case. Eddie Tipton MAY only be incarcerated for 5-7 years . . and will probably have a stack of cyber-security job offers when released. How can nefarious mentality actua

Wisconsin SuperCash $$
I have only ONE ONE ONE concern regarding if the lottery would or can, cheat me/us. They do a couple pre-draws and check if those sets are winners or not. If NO, they use THAT SET for the numbers on that night. Anything else, I dont care about. Take Tipton as an example.....even if he rigged something FOR HIMSELF, if it did not affect me, then I dont care/mind. If myself Tipton would win on the same night, so what? I still get my 350K. Jon

Man files lawsuit over rigged lottery jackpots
The lottery indirectly cheated the players if it's a fact Tipton rigged the drawing because they sold millions of tickets with a zero chance of winning the jackpot. Facts are the jackpot was never collected and unclaimed jackpots have never been paid out to players of future games. It's more like the jackpot was never paid because the Lottery wanted to talk to the person who purchased the ticket. The Ohio Lottery said their tickets are a bearer note, which means whoever turns in a valid

Man files lawsuit over rigged lottery jackpots
An ability to reason is even more useful than common sense, and anyone capable of that should easily understand that when you buy a lottery ticket your chances of winning are based on the chances that some or all of the numbers you played will be selected in the drawing. If some or all of your numbers aren't even included in the drawing process then your chances of winning are obviously reduced. If even one of your numbers isn't included then your chance of matching all of the winning numbers an

Judge: winner's lawsuit in lottery-fixing case can continue
It's vastly different. The woman who let McKenzie go first did so voluntarily. Even if it was an absolute certainty that she would have had the winning ticket if she hadn't let McKenzie go first she wouldn't have any claim on the prize, and the state didn't withhold any money that should have gone to players. There's absolutely no question at all that there's $9 to $10 million (cash value) that should have been paid out to someone. The only question is who would have won it if Tipton hadn't (

Lottery scam investigation comes to Tennessee
Hargrove said the timing is critical the state didn't start offering Hot Lotto until 2013 after Tipton had been caught buying that ticket in Iowa and his scheme began to unravel. Then why is MUSL wasting time investigating Tennessee Hot Lotto winners? Tipton's brother actually won jackpots in Oklahoma and Colorado. But can they prove Eddie Tipton rigged those drawings?

MUSL seeks to dismiss lawsuit over rigged jackpot
That money was returned to the 16 states that participate in Hot Lotto when associates of Tipton tried, but ultimately failed, to claim the prize a year later. Hot Lotto is a multi-state game based in Iowa. There was no actual proof the game was rigged and a jury found it was beyond reasonable doubt , but their verdict could be reversed in the court of appeals. The Iowa Hot Lotto players have the same complaints as all the players in the other 15 states and because of the time between when

MUSL seeks to dismiss lawsuit over rigged jackpot
This is really good that they are bringing this suit. I helps show the implications of what Tipton did. The more legal eyes we can have on this case (Tipton's) the better. It also shows every other lottery what happens if they allow a Tipton to infect them. I would like to see the court award him the money! That would REALLY make the lottery's stand up and listen.

Tennessee couple claims share of $1.6 billion Powerball jackpot
My apologies. You are right. I believe I misread the news: Eddie Tipton was involved in rigging random number generators and not ball games like Powerball and Mega Millions. The Robinson happened to be from Munford where Eddie Tipton is from. Coincidence I guess.

Lottery scandal unlikely to affect New Mexico, official says
Iowa prosecutors alleged that Tipton, 52, used his access to random-number generators the computers that randomly pick winning numbers to surreptitiously install software programs that let him know the winning numbers in advance. The stealth software then disappears without a trace. How do they know or can prove that Tipton installed the stealth software if it disappeared without a trace? The real question directed at MUSL should be if you know there is a stealth software that does all the
