False virus alerts for Avast users
This thread really has me wondering about virus protection and MS Essentials.
Since the beginning of the Microsoft operating systems, of any sorts, we have always been in need of an antivirus protection. We have also needed other apps to clean and straighten out registry problems, to fix the blue screen of death and the lists go on and on.
Microsoft has always been 10 steps behind in being able to prevent anything happening to thier OS. I find it hard to beleive that MS is now a leader

Fixed text editor problem for IE6 and IE7
Just forget all those anti-malware programs and install the free Microsoft Security Essentials. In fact, uninstall that stuff and then install Seucirty Essentials. I have had ZERO problems with malware, and I've been using it since it came out a couple years ago.

MICHIGAN Weekly Feb 21 through Feb 27
IT WAS ACTUALLY A LOT WORSE-I DISABLED MY FIREWALL, RECONFIGURED START UP SETTINGS, ENTERED A NEW HOME PAGE, RESTORED ALL SETTINGS TO DEFAULT, DOS COMMAND PROMPTS, ETC. 2ND PHONE CALL HAD ME CHANGE SOME MORE SETTINGS AND TOLD ME IF THAT DIDN'T WORK CALL THE MANUFACTURER THE PROBLEM WAS WITH THE MICROSOFT INTERNET BROWSER. I DID A SYSTEM RESTORE TO ORIGINAL SETTINGS-DIDN'T WORK AND THEN REINSTALLED THEIR SOFTWARE-WORKED. I RARELY EVEN USE THE IE BROWSER, I PREFER OPERA.

The best lotto software you ever used
Much of the software than ran in Window XP and earlier will not run in Window 7. You will have to upgrade to Window 7 professional and download XP mode program that Microsoft claims will fix that problem in most cases.

Substantial interface changes to Lottery Post
Yes, if you only knew what I've been going through to keep the site up this week, you'd be amazed. I have been struggling not only to cope with the changes that have been installed on the site this week, but also with some massive security holes that were discovered this past weekend in the Microsoft technology that drives the site. There's just one person (me) who is trying to deal with all of these things simultaneously. I wish I had a big budget and IT staff to help out, but I don't.

Joker's Wild Pick4 System...
This is true.. I try to take as many classes as I can at work. I also have a few Microsoft Training links if you would like me to send them to you - they are very nice and what our classes at work are based on. Let me know, Pogo

Gail Howard -Windows 7 Compatibility
Check the Microsoft website, they have a XP Mode program you can download to your Window7 computer that allows it to run old programs that ran under XP. The only catch is if you're have the Home Edition of Window7 you will have to upgrade to the Professional Edition.

Computer help anyone!!
You can't legally download Windows XP, unless you're a Microsoft partner. Are you using a hacked version, or one sold on the Internet? Doesn't that explain it right there? Why would you even consider XP at this point?

If you copy and paste this into Microsoft word or something (whatever you have) you could make you a chart of sorts. But for sure what I would do is to use colors for the hits..I am going to go back and see if I can use more colors to represent more categories of hits. the 980 had fell twice on midday but not at night..so when I see something like that, I will be sure to compare between midday and night and vice versa.

Developing a winning MegaMillions System
Microsoft has a free one that I can download but I have to upgrade to the professional or ultimate version of Windows7 to use it, it doesn't work on the home version of Windows7.
