What do you feel is the appropriate sentence for folk who steal?
I'm not advocating a reason to steal without consequences or trying to justifying theft... more pointing out punishment fitting the crime .
One poster stating cutting off limbs for stealing- period... no qualifiers.
If someone steals today, there is only one reason. They want it but don't wish to work for it.
I'll try a different example...
What if your 4 yr old kid gets caught swiping a pack of gum in the checkout line for the first time... you'd support the cop pulling a machete o

N.C. man charged with stealing $1M lottery ticket
The article is not about the US president Barack Obama, and your blatant accusation: Obama steals everyday! is baseless, unsurportable , cowardly and simply false.
There are means and mechanisms in place that allows you under the freedom of speech, and under the provisions of the law to vend your quarrels with the Obama administration, and this forum is beyond the scope of providing you the education for the realization of this releif.
It suffices however to note and to bring to your atten

E! Television to air 'Curse of the Lottery' Sunday
If the guy is convicted of a felony - of theft - that could very much do enough damage that he learns from it, and hopefully it gets enough PR that others see it also. It's a bit harder to get a job with a theft felony found in your background check. But that was his choice, not yours. But for him to continue to deny it tells me if he gets away with it, he will try something else to someone else. I'm thinking most folks that make mistakes in their lives admit them and move on. This guy is

What if someone interferes ??
Excuse me Barista, but Bank of America s system was hacked midsummer, and I along with millions of their customers were informed via mail of the incident. Nothing is impossible and you can spin it anyway you want. So while I choose to believe what you think is impossible is possible, I ll consider the feat as admirable. OK, Jorli D point taken! But I said the United States Banking System! That means the Untied States Treasury System, since they control the whole Banking system and all transactio

Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani spoke to the media Monday for the first time since his former interpreter, Ippei Mizuhara, was fired following accusations that he stole more than $4 million from Ohtani to cover his illegal gambling debts.
In a roughly 12-minute statement, Ohtani denied having ever bet on sports and said repeatedly that Mizuhara lied to him throughout the process.
I am very saddened and shocked someone I trusted has done this, Ohtani said through an interpreter a

California man learns $10 million reason not to tell your roommate if you win the lottery
This past Christmas, a man in Vacaville, Calif., learned a grim, but useful, holiday lesson: Sometimes, don't spread glad tidings. Keep the good news to yourself.
It was Dec. 20, and the city of about 100,000, located midway between Sacramento and San Francisco, was festooned with white lights and toy reindeer. Hoping to get his hands on a bit of extra cash for the holidays, the Vacaville man went to a Lucky grocery store and paid $30 for a scratch-off lottery ticket that odds said would leav

Ketan and Chirag Patel had big plans to cash in on Florida Lottery tickets but they weren't hoping for Lady Luck to work in their favor, deputies said.
Both men were arrested Tuesday on extortion charges.
After Ketan Patel found out that an employee at his wife's convenience store was responsible for stealing about $5,000 in lottery tickets, instead of reporting the man to authorities, Ketan Patel threatened to have the man and his sister deported if he didn't hand over nearly $250,000, de
