Annuity or Lump Sum?
I'm pretty sure that I would do the annuity. I like the idea of guaranteed yearly income for 25 years.

Annuity or Lump Sum?
Well I primarily play Hoosier Lotto, which is an in-state jackpot game. I rarely play PB or MM anymore. If I won the Hoosier Lotto, I would take the annuity. Unlike PB and MM, which have cash options usually between 65% and 72% of the annuity, Hoosier Lotto's jackpot is usually around 33%, which isn't that much. Then you take taxes out. Why play Hoosier Lotto then? Well, because my personal goal isn't to be mega rich necessarily, just to be able to retire and live a comfortable lifestyle the res

if PB/ MM changed its policy from CASH to ANNUITY going forward- would that sit well with you?
I would still play multimillion dollars jackpot but I wouldn't play any game that offers less than $50,000 per year annuity.

Would you wait for a year before claiming your $10M MM ticket if your state has a pending bill that
Knowing me and the lived ones around, the check will get cashed fast. I refuse to be tempted though. I wanna call lawyers and seek financial advice before anything. Not just got to the HQ the next day (Pedro) and claim it. That's a circus act right there. I would have to wait a week. Within that week of waiting, seek the best and professional advice out there to help me establish my future wealth.
By the way guys, would you choose the lump sum or annuity. Someone tell me if its true: if yo

$320 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot goes through the roof
Poor plan, helpmewin. Because, upon death, that jackpot winner's estate would be charged HUGE Federal or State Estate Taxes on all remainder gross monies [also, the remaining lottery annuity monies must be converted into Lump Sum then placed into the heir(s) checking account(s), that simply adds to the tax attorney and estate attorney's fees]!
See, lots of reasons why it's been years since any PB or MM jackpot winner has collected as annuity, only lump-sum makes sense for a myriad of reasons.
