Lottery jackpots may get bigger
I can't say but I assume the winner is an old man waiting a month to step forward. He will in fact try to remain anonymous.
I can be wrong though. lol.

Not sour grapes. I did play $50 for this jackpot...25 $2 tickets

Proposed Buffett Rule and How It Would Apply to Some Lottery Winners Who Invest
Millionaire or billionaire, doesn't make that much difference when it comes to taxes....if Bufett pays less than 35%, so what.....what deductions does he have to get him down to the alleged 14% level or whatever level hes at ? giving to charities or running non profit organizations pay medical expenses of other people through anonymous donations.... Who gives a rats behind if W.B pays 14% on his earnings...14% of 10 million dollars earned or whatever his earnings are at is a HECK OF ALOT than an

$250 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot ramps up
Not to mention remaining anonymous. The winner(s) may attempt keep his/her mouth shut on the subject, but with that much money, there is bound to be someone that will uncover their secret.
A name change and a move to another state might be in order to preserve one's sanity.

Entire town, except one guy, wins $950M lottery
Oh no we don't! That is so socialist! If Powerball worked that way, then if the jackpot was hit this Saturday, the winners would only gross 75,000 before taxes! Definitely no where near a life-changing sum of money. So let Spain have their El Gordo and let Powerball and Mega Millions be PB and Mega Millions respectively. I am sure those in the stay anonymous crowd would agree with my sentiments, as the evidence of the sharks, leeches, and parasites coming out of the woodwork and descending on th

Iowa Lottery threatens to deny jackpot payout if winner stays anonymous
in his quest to stay bypass the rules and stay completely anonynmous, the winner has had more press than 250 million dollar jackpot winners. He only won 14 million which is next to nothing in jackpot standards so its not like anyone would of cared. Its not even a national lottery so i don't know he needed to got to such great lengths to remain anonymous. And unless he found his ticket the day it was claimed, turning in the ticket 2 hours before its expiration was extremely stupid. I wonder what

$50M Lotto winner a no-show for celebration
With the rare exception of a few people who are so stupid they can't even buy a ticket, nobody is too stupid to play the lottery. OTOH, experience shows that a lot of people aren't smart enough to handle winning. Other experience that gets far less publicity shows that it's also possible to win and have no problems that result in media attention. There's no real advantage to starting with anonymity if you aren't smart enough to become anonymous after the fact. The people with the worst problems

Pa. couple claims $128 million Powerball jackpot
If I lived anywhere close to Delaware, I'd always buy my tickets in Delaware. Why? because they allow you to remain completely anonymous and their taxes are the same as majority of the other states both for locals and out of state players.
hmmm are there jobs in Delaware?

Ct. Powerball lottery winners signed affidavit swearing they are only members of trust
Let these guy's enjoy their limelight. They won, let them have fun. There are so many swirling conspiracy theories about an anonymous winner, did they give enough to charitable causes, are they a front??? Blah, blah, blah.....
Let it go, we all (hopefully) will have our big day, you wouldn't want someone raining on your parade.
