One lottery ticket wins $37.5 million Illinois Lotto jackpot
A single player has won the $37.5 million grand prize from the latest drawing of the Illinois State Lottery's Lotto game.The only ticket to match all six winning numbers from Monday night's drawing was sold at a store in Freeport, a city about 30 miles west of Rockford.The grand prize for Wednesday night's Lotto drawing will be $2 million.In addition to the grand prize winner, 31 players matched five of the six winning numbers from Monday night's drawing good for second prizes of $933 apiece.Ano

Georgia Lottery mistake gives players extra chance to win

Mega Millions lottery jackpot increases to $25 million
The jackpot in the multistate Mega Millions lottery drawing grew to $25 million Friday.None of the tickets sold for Friday's $18 million drawing matched all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball. The next drawing will be Tuesday.There were two second-prize winners from Friday night's drawing: 1 from Georgia and 1 from Texas. Each ticket matched all five lotto numbers but not the Mega Ball number to win $175,000.Also, 21 players matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number.

just pure beginners luck??

Missouri Lottery expands games to twice a day
The Missouri Lottery's daily games will expand from one to two drawings a day later this month, officials said Friday.Gary Gonder, the lottery's spokesman, said the Pick 3, Pick 4 and Show Me 5 games will have a mid-day drawing in addition to the evening drawing, starting July 26.
