$254.2 Millions Powerball Jackpot Won With A Single Quick Pick TIcket In Connecticut.
We've had hundreds of posts suggesting that jackpot winners should hire financial advisers, lawyers, tax CPAs and remain anonymous. We know the three guys are financial advisers, they formed a trust, and talked about donating money to charity. If the real winner is a fourth person, they covered all the bases and can anonymously spend their winnings. It's obvious it only takes one ticket to win especially when there is only one winning ticket.

Connecticut Powerball mystery deepens
I'm still waiting to hear what they've done that's illegal or immoral. This is my nightmare: that after going through great trouble to collect and remain anonymous, someone will out me.

$254M Ct. Powerball jackpot claimed by 3 asset managers
Here is an extension of my original theory the asset managers are acting for an anonymous winner. This also explains why they did not use a trust and it took so long to claim the ticket. Keep in mind the 3 asset managers claimed the money in their names meaning they have to pay the taxes. They bought the ticket from the original winner. They may be able to pay the winner more money after taxes than the winner could have gotten from the state. Why? Because the asset managers may be

Best Ways of Keeping a Low Profile
I guess it depends on the size of the jackpot as to how much of a low profile you will need but I will do the interview at the lottery and that is it. Because you can not remain anonymous in oregon and I know how to tell people no. So all I need to do now is win the lottery and I would be happy with a small jackpot just as I would be happy with a big one. Most of my life I have been on a lower income level then most $20,000 a year is what I make so I could see myself loving a small jackpot or bi

8 winners claim $23.5M in jackpots at NY Lottery Halloween party
Yeah, that is EXACTLY what I was thinking! And here, these guys were GIVEN that opportunity - and it looks like they still wanted to be seen and not anonymous (by being, say, a clown in full make-up).

Opinion: Powerball winners will lose big if they go public
I know several people who live in the area and by shop at wine world from time to time. I told one of them I hope she is the winner and playing it safe. I encouraged her to keep it to herself if she won. She assured me that she isn't the winner. Although I am curious as to who the winners are. I employ them to...KEEP IT ANONYMOUS!!!! And...congratulations.

Opinion: Powerball winners will lose big if they go public
Absolutely some of the best advice I've ever seen with regard to winning a large jackpot. A winner living in the Sate of New York will present a big winner some problems with regard to remaining anonymous, but the solution to that is to simply disappear.

Opinion: Powerball winners will lose big if they go public
Even though some states require that you hold a press conference if you win a jackpot, but from my understanding; there are ways to get around that. That's why it is so important to get an attorney when you do win a jackpot. The attorney can set up a Trust, LLC,....etc and the attorney will represent you to claim your winnings and you can remain anonymous. What are they going to do if you don't come forward, but you have an attorney to represent you with the winning ticket?.......not give you th
