Should The Mega Millions Matrix be Redone?
I voted YES. The matrix for both Mega and Powerball should be put back to where they were before. I would rather see more winners of lower jackpots over fewer winners of monstrous jackpots. I'm sure nobody would complain if they won a smaller jackpot. You wouldn't take $40 mil? Bring back the old matrix!!!

WV house bill 4505... anonymously claiming jackpots
Do we have any updates on the status of this bill. I honestly don't know how it all works, but what I recall is that it was awaiting signature, with the deadline being April 1st. Do you think this will WV will be the next state to see things for what they are.....and allow winners to live a normal life after hitting the big one?

Time for Mega Millions to change
I think they should make the PB MM easier to win smaller jackpots, not like they just changed to make the games harder to win to make humongous jackpots. Players want to win, even if it's a smaller amount....we still can say we won something! In NY State, we have NY Lotto where the odds of getting 6 of 6 is 1: 45,057,474. but we get 2 games for $1 which makes the odds 1: 22,528,737. Tonight's jackpot is $15.7 mil. Not too shabby!

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
I'm glad to see you're finding some nice wins Skeptic! I've been taking a week break from scratchoffs. I might play again next Friday when I get paid. I'm thinking about playing $5 Flamgino, and $5 Gold Rush tickets with maybe a few of the $20 Misfortune tickets. Has anyone had any good hits on the Lucky $200k/yr for life? I see many of those tickets near where I live with 2 main jackpots and 4 second place jackpots remaining. It is very hard to scratch, and seems to yield more

POWERBALL CREATES WORLD'S FIRST BILLION-DOLLAR JACKPOT
I feel so ODD paying $2.00 for 1 ticket. In fact I've written a letter to my state lottery about this. PB had to change the matrix because they were losing money and the jackpots weren't rising and on the verge of falling apart. I do feel that MegaMillions will up their matrix. They have not had the Mega Jackpots they were expecting with the new change but I doubt they will go to $2.00

Last of the California Second Chance Jackpots
Well, I didnt win the 5 million dollar jackpot. Some lucky guy did on Christmas Eve. What a nice present. Since the state has phased it out, there is only another 5 million and 1 million in February 2016 and a 750k yet to be determined. The rational for the phase out was that there was going to be more smaller prizes but I havent noticed. They shd have kept it the way it was. Merry Christmas, everyone!

Man in Iraq wins $6.4 million Oregon Lottery jackpot
It's a highly personal situation, so I understand feelings on both sides. Personally, I have no problem with it. In order to win a jackpot the person would have to pay into it, and frankly they've probably put a good deal more into other jackpots before winning this one. So whoever won those other jackpots was receiving money from this guy, as well as the thousands of other foreigners who have played in the same manner. Plus, he's most certainly not the first non-US citizen to win a US jac

Powerball sucks
States added PB and MM to attract players to their local games which have better odds of winning smaller jackpots and all they get are complaints about the larger jackpots being too hard to win. Wake up folks, they will continue to get harder to win until they aren't competing with local games. States prefer to keep all of their sales profits rather than sending 63% of them to a multi-state lottery group. Ohio just added Lucky for Life to its line-up of games. The jackpot never change but

Powerball sucks
The wisdom within the Powerball compound has a misconception about lottery players. Though they are right in the aspect of ultra high jackpots bringing people out of the woodwork to play, they have ignored how the jackpots get to those levels in the first place. It is the players who play every drawing, regardless of jackpot amount. These players are the heart of the system. Without them the lottery would not survive. How are they summarized by the lottery? Obviously as dim witted, uneducated, p

Friday the 13th is lucky day for Ohio lottery player
I thought this jackpot would roll over but, not this time or this year. So far this year there have been 8 jackpot winners and none have been close to $300 million. Maybe they should tweak the matrix to 6/75-1/15 so they could get some BIGGER jackpots. That's it for the big jackpots for 2015 and maybe 2016 will be the year of the BILLION dollar jackpot.
