too those that are complaining bout the higher odds to win the powerball in october. im pretty sure the same thing was said for the mega millions and i want to say its been over a year and people been winning once even month and a half to two months just like average and still no billion dollar nor a record jackpot. as long as u have a ticket and hope u have a chance.

Excitement at 9 digit jackpots has faded. The daily pick 3 typically pays 500 on odds of 1:1000 (000-999). Depends on where you play, legal or otherwise I suppose. Once the jackpot hits record levels - non-serious/common people will return to PowerBall and then will forget/not care about the new odds - and if PB starts and continues to build big jackpots - they will stay PB players. The sales won't be as high as before, but the profits will be bigger for the states because of the sales pushes of the big jackpots.
