A tax on lottery tickets? That's a new low. Proves inflated annuities and taxation on lottery winnings takes place only the USA. Canada and Europe also have all cash tax free prizes. Not sure of Japan or other countries. Only big non US pots that I've seen though are out of Australia, Canada and Europe. Although given a choice I'd far rather pay a 35% tax on a one dollar ticket than have 35% of the prize taken away if I win.

so much for my theory that any digit doesn't stay out longer than 20 draws in canada. quebec digit 1 hit on the 22nd draw...digit 2 western canada now out 20.. i guess the lotto officials looked at my post and said, yeah, we'll show him . lol. sure hope it's pair 27 tomorrow. wished it was 050 instead of 858..would have pulled in a nice 6 grand tonight. 500 combo out over 900 draws now. lots of repeats..can still come yet.

Looking at the payouts for the Canada 6/49 I would not recommend the wheels I mentioned!! The payout for getting 4 correct is only about $75. But at least I put forward my ideas about wheels! Hopefully they will help people (even in Canada!) to pick a wheel that they like and that works for them.
