Inner seeing vs outer, who sees more
visual input can confuse or help. Its that simple. we tap into things in our dreams because that is when we are our most vulnerable. we only perceive what we can understand. so our mind coordinates things in a way we can understand and sometimes we don't even get that. Or remember the message in a conceivable way. I'm a firm believer that it takes trial and error (and maybe some handed down knowledge from our elders who have been there before us) to make anything accurate of our dreams and

Powerball lottery jackpot reaches $250 million
We don't have PB in NJ, it is a MM state. However, PA is only 24 miles from my front door. I have not seen long lines in years. The busy places have two or three terminals. The only time they build up is when the clerk doesn't know what do. If it is a bad slip, the it shows the error. ANother area I have had delays with is old machines. Many times they have to put an additional slip behind the original in order for the machine to properly read. I assume it is getting old and not being cl

if your state switched would you play?
Where's the human error of having ballsets replaced periodically, having an independent auditing firm oversee both pre-draw and post-draw tests in addition to the actual drawing, watching those carefully weighed balls being loaded with gloved hands rolling around in the hopper and the balls showing themselves as the jackpot draw??????? It's called proper oversight. Whereas you have a machine that can be tweaked by a human which is hidden behind closed doors, drawing conducted without televis

Making my own program - how easy?
Of course one could debate the speed and merits of hand-rolled assembler code on the latest supercomputer-server-farm vs pencil-and-paper, too. Most people want to know what time it is without having to become a watchmaker. But there is always one in the crowd. In terms of what one can get started easily with, what one can get (lots of FREE) help with, I think that path is clearly pointed out. I don't see m(any) threads for help for C++, C# or linux users. Maybe I blinked.Remember, paul762's que

ANOTHER 4 out of 5...HOLY!!
Thanks Greg - I've been coming so close lately, I can literally TASTE it! I continue to have good results with Gail Howard's balanced wheels. I've found through trial and error (and losing money on bigger wheels) that a 16 number wheel 3if4 works best. As when I got 3 lines with 4 of 5, it's a 37 ticket wheel. What's amazing about this win, is I only picked 4 correct numbers, but managed to get them all on one line, much better than the guarantee. How do I chose my numbers? Well that's a g

I need an opinion....
CashmanI went and checked some of your predictions. I'll assume everything you state is sincere and honest regarding your picks and intentions.BUT you are saying to play 240 numbers per draw!Pick3 - 40 numbers - 6way box = 240That is almost ¼ of all the 1000 numbers! And then to throw progression into the mix?Just 1 loss in the middle of that progression would put you in the hole, big time. (Or some minor error, like giving out a wrong number to play).I don't play online and for a payoff o

A Better Method for Pick3
Hi truecritic, what you mean, the opoosite of what i thought ?I've setup the database in a relational design. Pretty basic and to the point. States, and states have draws, pure and simple.I have lots of other tables setup in it (which i will not discuss here)Don't worry, i'm not some lunatic that will go crazy when someone points me towards an error in my code or so. It was just data that was requested, that's all, and i happened to have that data, nothing more than that. Here's a view of the mir

My apologies.I discovered an error in the figures. I should stay consistent with this method in every detail. I'll try to delete this thread before my allowed time to edit runs out.I'll have to re-crunch all the numbers, then do a new post a little bit later on.Hope you'll still see some you like in the new one, catspick.*********************************************************************** Well, deleted my first post in this thread, but my thread's still here.
