4if 4 pick5+bonus number 39# wheel
If the bonus number is one of the 39 number then you're talking about a 4if4 of a pick6/39. If the bonus number is from a different group then you're talking about a 4if4 of a pick5/39 and the bonus number can be picked randomly.RJOh

CA screws players
According to New York and California lottery websites, each state contribute 32% of ticket sales to the jackpot which only leave 18% of tickets sales for the other prizes if the state keep 50% for themselves. I assume each member state does the same, but that's the cost of having that big jackpot which every body seem to want. If the states don't take the cost of running the lottery out of their 50% then less than 18% is left for the other prizes.RJOh

Actually 07 13 48 51 54 +11 = 12 01 01 21 00 +14, but when those numbers are used in my lottery program they get sorted and 00 isn't seen as a number. I may write a routine just for them rather than use them as a lottery file if I find they have any value. Also as the program start its search to find the characters in previous drawings, it finds 13 and 48 in drawing #1 first, 07 in drawing #12 third, 51 in drawing #21 forth and it never finds 54 in any of the previous drawings and that order s

State Tax Question
If your winnings are from a lottery ticket bought in Ohio then you pay Ohio states taxes regardless of where you live. I think all states work the some way. If you don't want to pay state taxes on your lottery winnings then buy your tickets in a state that doesn't have state taxes and move before you win.RJOh

RJOh and aye, you've both got good points...just important to be on the right side of the fence at the right time.I'm working on a strategy similar to RJOh's that deals with the number of draws each winner has been out.Good luck to all...I picked up my $1 on Saturday.

MegaMillions pool strategies.
....half of the winning numbers have 3 numbers from the last seven drawings or 4 numbers from the last twelve drawings or 25% of the winning numbers have all 5 numbers from the last fifteen drawings. Conversely the other half have 3 numbers from 8-31 drawings back or 4 numbers from 13-44 drawing back and 75% of the winning numbers have all 5 numbers from 15-81 drawings back. The advantage is being in the pool (I think).RJOh

Does anyone use these systems?
pacattack,If your buddy won't get off his behind and write the program that you want and you have a description of what you want, there are plenty of programmers that will work for you if you're willing to pay their price. Many of them advertise their services on the internet. Good luck to you.RJOh

billion dollar jackpots
I can't ever see the states contributing enough money to have a lottery with a starting jackpot of more than $25M, so the matrix has to be attractive to players at a lower jackpot level or it will never have a half billion dollars jackpot. A game with such a matrix is likely to be won before it ever has a half billion dollars jackpot.RJOh

Family wins, gives u some
I have never expected a family member to give me money to give to my friends or anybody else and if a family member can afford to give his money away, then he doesn't need any of mine even if I won a lottery.RJOh
