Should California win the next 6 PB jackpots, would you shout " Conspiracy? "
Or think it just plain luck, at the same time would you play less? * Topic: Just for fun . *** Have a Great Weekend People.

Post your scratch ticket results
How has skeptic not hit a million or hell even $100K yet ? Its obvious the tickets win more in his area and there are lots of jackpots in the vicinity. Is it fate ? If this woman pops 2 jackpots from the same store I would love to see her $500 and $1K wins summary. Whatever she expected to win from the same Publix out of the same machine from the same ticket she won. Has to be rigged. Was she ordering several books a day from the lottery and they thought why not lets shock her and send her the $5

Announcing Winners to the public?
I actually believe winners names should be published to assure complete faith in the systems. When I hear about someone claiming anonymously, I instantly question whether or not it's on the up and up especially huge jackpots. I'm sure i'm not the only one. If I won, I would publicly pick up that huge check, give the press conference and answer all questions. If you win something like 2 or 4 million it barely raises any eyebrows so i'm sure you would be good to go. However, if you win one of t

$550 MILLION: Mega Millions holiday bonanza!
Answer: It's better to have fewer winners take home bigger jackpots. Why? Because if the game was structured so that 30 people split the jackpot, then the jackpot would NEVER grow to a large size because the game would be too easy to win. Then Mega Millions would fail, and we would not even be having this discussion. It is large jackpots that draw huge numbers of people to play. People don't line up around the block for a chance to win a million or so. There are a ton of games that offer

$205 MILLION: Promise of big jackpots met by new Mega Millions
I'll buy one or two with the megaplier...but the odds now are just too atrocious to believe there's a snowball's chance. More than ever, there's the feeling of just pissing my money away. The sexy nature these higher starting points and humongeous jackpots has spoiled alot of the fun. The idea should be more people winning in the $20-50 million range instead of week upon week of no JP winner and a buildup into the $200-300-400 millions with a couple winners at the end. Smaller winning jack

$205 MILLION: Promise of big jackpots met by new Mega Millions
What is really interesting to me is the lack of the second tier of winners. Only two. With the new astronomical odds we will probably see 500m jackpots won by single tickets more often than splits but also few second place winners as well in my opinion. With MM there will be much larger jackpots (probably records in the 800m range) but fewer per year. Perhaps 5-6 huge ones and the run up will take a while (2months per run is 6 wins). This means for a lot of people eventually they will only p

The 6/49 lottery format
You would think with the 6/49 lottery format being one of the most popular in North America, there would be some well developed systems out there just for it. With MM and PB odds and prices being key toward developing jackpots of a half billion dollars many 6/49 games with jackpots of 20 to 50 millions dollars and much better odds are starting to look more attractive. I've seen wheels using all 49 numbers guaranteeing a match three but they are more than a hundred lines and match threes don't

Who' s to say...
If it can be proven that a winner played with other people regularly those people will certainly have a better chance of convincing a judge or jury that they were playing together when the winner won, but only if they were stupid enough to be doing it without a written agreement. If they played together only infrequently their claim will be that much weaker, and when they played together may be very persuasive. No longer working with people you occasionally played with would be significant. Play

$189 MILLION: Mega Millions jackpot rolls again
I hate to state the obvious, but if you're going to try and come across like a know-it-all, you better get your numbers straight. You say 30 rollovers, more than half a year which is not equivalent, so I have to interpret what you meant. And again you say $20M per draw ... works out to a billion a year which is correct if you only count 1 draw per week, not two.(52 versus 104) Anyway, with that aside, I never said anything about the new MM matrix being inspirational, where do you get that fro

$189 MILLION: Mega Millions jackpot rolls again
Yeah, I doubt it. The game has been averaging sales of less than $20M per draw this year. That's before they make it worse. That works out to be about a billion per year on a system that is now going to be 1:250,000,000. That's not a few billion per year. It's a couple of billion, which is pretty miserable for a population of the size living in areas where tickets are sold. You expect a lot of big jackpots? Um...um...um... What I said, in case you missed it, was that the PA lottery r
