I think it's hilarious that some individual people were spending thousands of dollars on lottery tickets and spending hours filling out numbers, and the person in Maryland won on a $1 quick pick from a lottery vending machine. That should teach people a lesson.

Your son did alot better than me! lol! Once the pb grows to a 100 mil and over , maybe i should try the vending machine. It couldn't hurt!

Wow! from a vending machine? I will be sitting on the sidelines for several draws, hopefully the PB will go over 100mil by then. I had my 3 year old son pick numbers on a $5 ticket and that produced a $10 winner...woohoo! perhaps my son has been the missing link all this time, but to be fair I also spent a total of $20 which is beyond the usual $2-3 QP wager.

On CNN right now they showed the 7/11 store in Maryland that sold the winning ticket. It was a $1 quick pick from a vending machine. Wow.

I got 1 ticket 1+1. Funny thing when I printed that ticket at the lottery vending machine is the maching blinked off, then on after I pushed the button and before the ticket came out. Wish it would have blinked 4 more times....

Buying from a vending machine seems better because you don't have to worry about the cashier sniping your win after buying 6 straight losing tickets in a row. my .02

tough toenails for him. this will teach you to either never join one of those pools or if you do stay in it no matter what. everyone should take turns buying him an item out of the vending machine one time each just for laughs if they still are working there, which they shouldn't be.

Oh and I bought three of the new $20 tickets from a vending machine and hit 10X with a $10 under it (#05). I took $20 of the 40 profit and bought four $5 Money For LIFe and hit $20 on the last, leaving me once again with $40 profit. NOt a bad day overall ..

Been chasing $500 since it's launch and finally hit last night. Ticket #18, which I bought out of a Publix vending machine, had 2 coin stacks $100 $50 then matched number 30 for another $50. Then purchased ticket #19 from the clerk and it hit for $100. Oh and I spent $80 a good night and paid my water bill...lol! I still prefer the 'old' Rush!
