Should we feel stupid playing the lotto?
I've had strangers standing in line with a couple of six-packs and a carton of cigarettes tell me I'm wasting my money buying lottery tickets but being a friendly guy I smile, get my tickets and continue on my way. RJOh

Getpaid,You may have some misgivings about the greed of pick3 and pick4 posters, occasionally when I have posted a prediction for a pick5 or jackpot game that wins some money I've gotten PMs from fellow posters suggestion that it's stupid to post predictions for the games I play because that could effect my winning if I ever won the jackpot. I think most posters just don't post any information about games that might effect their winnings. By the way, I noticed you've never posted any predictio

Honest store clerk returns $100,000 lottery ticket
I keep all my losing tickets for tax purposes just in case I win some money later. Lottery players should request the return of all their tickets unless the clerk need them as a record of payouts. Some clerks will even return your winning tickets after the payouts has been recorded at the terminal.RJOh

I'm already using a statistical selection system to pick my numbers for MegaMillions, however the amount of numbers are still too many to wheel in a few lines so I use a RNG to pick a few combinations from that pool of numbers using even more statistical data. I watch the prediction statistics of each member to see if any of them are having any success and it appears that most are concentrating their efforts on the pick3 and pick4 games. Good luck on your efforts to win a jackpot game.RJOh

chaos
I think both Nanook and Rjoh are correct.Random is random, and that is a correct statement, however, conditions that makethat outcome reality, are extremely important.Example: If god can choose the winning numbers every night, It's not because(in my opinion) of magic, or anything supernatural. It's because he knows the conditions inside and outside of the tubes that hold the balls. The air around each ball, the temperature, the minute static electrical activities, and so on.The only way he would be

Honest store clerk returns $100,000 lottery ticket
I'm sure that clerk preferred to have a honest tip regardless of the amount or he would have cashed in the ticket himself and had a dishonest $100,000 and the fear of being caught.RJOh
