TB, now that's what I call making it plain. I agree with the statement in your last paragraph. I do not play all of the numbers that I list. However, I list them all in the event that others can see if there is something they can compare their methods with and pull a number. I have benefited from viewing posts like the one you described. Sometimes I may have stopped playing a particular number because it has not come yet. And when I see it later on someone else's post, it prompts me to re-thi

Ottawa barber, client share $32M lottery win
I'm not sure what you mean here, but since I signed a notarized affidavit gifting shares in any MM ticket I purchase in the next year, the IRS will have verification that it was shares in the one dollar tickets I purchase that was gifted, not a gift given after the win. In the event of a jackpot win, we'd have to form a legal corporation, partnership or trust to claim it for the group. I would not claim it personally. Consequently, I would not be paying income taxes on anyone else's shares. Nor

Ottawa barber, client share $32M lottery win
In my case it would be far clearer than just coming up in a conversation. I've signed a notorized statement gifting shares in any MM ticket purchased in the next year. In the event of a jackpot win, we'd have to form a legal partnership, corporation or trust with all parties named and the number of shares each would be there for all to see. However, I see absolutely no reason to keep all shares alike. Why should my adult step-grandchildren get as much as my stepchildren? Why should my adult nei

Curious about rules on selling lotto tickets
There should be no problem playing and winning your state lottery as much as you would like. The only exception would be if you were an insider or cheating the lottery by manipulating the outcome from within (for example if you worked for the lottery and modified the computer program). Las Vegas is different than state lotteries. For example, with blackjack there are systems that give the player an advantage, such as card counting, and consistent winners suspected of card counting are bann

Steve Player's "Lucky 7-plus" system? How can it cover doubles too?
It's basically a bait and switch. The switch being some event that works sometimes, yet enough to warrant it as proof of the reliability of the system. I've had many years of experience in buying some of his work, and the sales spiel that came with it. The only good one he has is the cash graphs. Period. The rest is just passifying the masses. There is no such system. To cover doubles costs more. End of discussion. Unless someone changes the laws of physics and numbers, it'll be what it

Tenn. lawmakers want to force lottery to drop computer draws
Do you think the lotteries just go down to Best Buy and pick up a copy of RNG for Lotto and then leave it running (with all default settings unchanged), only drawing a set of numbers when they need one for a real drawing? If it's good RNG program, the only way to predict the numbers would be to exactly replicate all of the conditions required for the generation of the drawing. Each drawing will be a unique event using a new seed, and there won't be any next result to predict. That the numbers mi

How would you end your job after You win the powerball this week.
There are some great ideas here. My job is a dead-end job with no chance for advancement and little chance of even a raise. I make next to nothing. I'm so over-qualified it's laughable. My boss loves me; but the owner of the business is a micromanager, a skinflint and an abuser of his employees. Thank goodness that in the eight months I've worked here, I have yet to meet him; may that pleasure be prolonged indefinitely. I would love to make an unforgettable exit, something they would talk

Running an office Powerball pool is discouraging
Don't feel too bad! I know of a local office pool that buys 100 QPs for each MegaMillions drawing. They have been doing this forever and have never won more than $150. This was one time event. They have gone many drawings in a row without winning anything. They have big dropout problem! IMHO, I think they need to call a meeting, take a close look at prior drawings and generate their own combinations. WOW, if I could afford to play $200 a week, I'd definitely want to be in control!
