Have self-serve lottery machines, but can't pay out any tickets? (Rite-Aid in Ohio)
Thanks for all the input everyone.
It does sound like its just a weird Rite Aid machine quirk. Hmmn...I wonder if its all Rite Aids or just the one closest to my house? (I buy tickets there frequently, because I like using the self-serve machines for the most part.)
I wouldn't have necessarily expected them to have a lot of cash on hand to pay out winners, but from what the clerk told me he wouldn't even be able to pay out a $2 winner. Seemed odd to me.
My winning ticket was only $70, s

Winning Lotto ticket survives washing machine
Excellent! What a Twilight Zone episode that would have been!
I found the ticket but it's a complete blank

Anyone here want to still doubt the Luck Factor?
This is a double example, his numbers are drawn and the ticklets survives the washing machine.
Or does Steve Player have a system for recovering wet tickets?

Matt, I know exactly how you feel..I feel the same about those games. I've seen 2 HOT symbols lately
ticket #'s 000 and 011 and they were for $5 - the 20x the Money! awful! and that's putting it mildly.
I got 4 in a row last night...BUT to make the classification more solid...got 4 the other night too, different
machine (1st set #'s 028 - 031, 2nd set #'s 001 - 004) and won $0.00 That might not be enough to make
proper judgement but getting them here and there enough times and winnin

Spent $30 at Giant and got a small profit, winning $32. Results:
1 20x the Money (#042) - lost
2 Lucky Cherry Slots (#058 and #059) - #059 won $15 total with a triple cherry. Was hoping that would be bigger.
1 Diamonds 7s (#025) - won $10 (I could record this for every time I win on a $10 ticket - LOL)
1 Cash Up (#066) - won $3 (the other machine had three lose from #065-067 last night, so glad this bin was different)
1 Whole Lotta Hundreds (#135) - won $4
So, low prize amounts

Oh yea, Matt, those hawks will bleed a machine dry alright. I've had days where no matter where I go,
there is nothing but junk left....junk being $5 for a $5 ticket/$20 for a $20 and so on...OR the worst junk:
$0.00
A sure fire indicator of whether the hawks have done their hit and run is the trash....if I go in and see a
bunch of the same tickets in the trash or multiples of a few types of tickets, they've been there already and
sucked it clean of anything decent. It's pretty mu

Ok! Stood in front of the machine last night and scanned the selections in a ho hum kind of way..UNTIL
I saw the Cherry Slots! Isn't it funny how seeing a new ticket puts a gleam in your eye and brings a lift
to your spirits? Until you're done scratching....
Ticket #'s 020, 021, 022 - the last one won $15
I saw the $1 Gus tickets too...(can't they give that guy a makeover or something? He's looking an awful
lot like the roadkill I saw last night)
Got 10 of those and won a free

True to promise, pals share $1 million lottery jackpot
Eula Webb, 75, wanted to get some milk from the store, so she asked her friend Sam Cricci, 80, if he wanted to come along and buy some milk, too.
I wanted to keep him active, she said.
They went to the Associated Supermarket on Fulton Street, got their milk, bought a couple of lottery tickets one for Webb, one for Cricci from a machine, and went home.
Webb scratched her Empire State Millionaire ticket and got nothing. Cricci scratched his ticket and won the jackpot: $1 million.

Black Pearls
Bought 5 of these so far (2 different places) and won $10 on 1 of them.
I went to Publix last night to get some of these and the dude in front of me was cashing in $100 bux worth that he had just bought from the machine. He beat me to it =)
Then I saw him take most (if not all) of the winnings and buy from the exact same roll that he won the $100 on. He didnt scratch in the store so not sure if he won on the next ones or not.
I decided to hit up the liquor store next door and

$500 winner - Georgia Lottery BLACK
Yes, that was excellent. I do some of that to an extent. I do have better luck in the slower stores where I can actually count the tickets in each book. If I hit on a winner, I try and wait for 3 tickets to be sold before I buy another, and then I will often buy them until I have another winner. I dig through the trash a bit, but I have yet to find a winner so far, although I have entered many a second chance game with those tickets. I do also gather intel on tickets that way. Most people will s
