Who is dumber?
I think people in general know stealing is wrong without having the 10 commandments at their disposal to remind them. Why do people always have to instill religious crap on everyone? Are you telling me that before the jews marched their way to mount sinai, and received the so called 10 commandments, that everyone was void of any conception of morality? Are you saying that if someone tripped and hit their head on a stone on the way to mount sinai, bleeding profusely, that no one would stop

Divvy it up
Oh, I wouldn't say I really believe that I'm going to win. I know it's a long shot. But if I am going to throw $200 or $250 a year at Mega Million tickets and the amount of time it takes to pick up those tickets, surely it is worth a few more minutes a year to have a statement notorized at my bank which could, in the unlikely event that I DID win, save millions of dollars. I have no question about wanting to share any big win with relatives and a once-per-year ability to make changes should be a

Coin Toss and Jersey PICK 3 EVE
In an event of odds being 50%, after 10 draws there is a 99.9% confidence that the streak will end. The second digit in the jersey pick 3 evening has been drawn odd an amazing 17 times in a row. MAthematics say that there is a 99.9992 confidence that the streak will end tonight. I would not bet on it tonight since it is very streaky but if it draws odd again tonight that will be 18 in a row. I would try the 19th time since there is a 99.99998 confidence it will stop and draw even. Bu

Tntea's 5/39 thingy
May I make this suggestion: convert your odd/even pattern to binary and work with the binary equivalent. Here is what I mean. In your example above, you have oeeoo. If we convert the o to zero and the e to 1, we have 01100. This converts to 12 decimal. Now you can program your computer to find all the number sets that result in 12 decimal. Be forwarned, this program will result in 18,000 number sets, all with the pattern oeeoo. In the event your are wondering, binary 11111 converts to 31

Reality of Pick 3 Sucessful Picks
I think overdueness (if thats a real word, lol) is in the eye of the beholder. I hate say it, and I hate to admit it to myself even more, but no matter how far a digit, pair, combo, or other such event is out, it will still follow normal probability rules. Suppose a digit is out 50 draws in Position-3, it still only has a 65.13% chance of being drawn by game 60. Suppose it makes it out 60 games, now there is another 65.13% individual chance that it will be drawn by game 70. Those 20 draws f

A Test For All States
LckyLary, I do not use computer programs in which to pick winning #s. I am not state specific, my specialty is all states. You say:If we pick a bunch of (any) numbers and say all States then it's likely it comes out someplace at least BOX. n States x 13 boxes is really good odds. You are missing it, (I can tell by your response) I didnot pick a bunch of any #s. I applied the steps listed to the draw results from 01/08/08. You say:Are you saying that if a # comes out in State A it i

Randomness of the lottery
Each of the two sets appears to be random within itself - but the bottom most set contains one to three of the same exact numbers as the same corresponding line for the first set. Obviously, the drawings in the second set occur the next day after the drawings in the first set. The amount of winning numbers that float over from set one to set two does seem to defy probability. However, its NOT IMPOSSIBLE. How far back does this continue? Does it go back far beyond 10-3-2007? Does it continue on

What Will You do if You Was a Human Calculator (Alexis Lemaire)
I would say to you that even if you had access to the rng that the lottery uses that you couldn't crack any code. If rng's are supposedly random which we are led to believe... then how could Alex or anyone else computer or not predict the outcome of a drawing which is supposedly a random event. Lotteries that use rng use different computers for every draw meaning that they draw a number for which computer will be used for that particular draw. How could Alex or any supercomputer know this in

Wanting Lots of Stuff
I've never been fond of jewelry, no matter how expensive. I haven't worn earrings once in at least 25 years, and no ring other than a wedding band in my lifetime, so one can be sure I wouldn't be spending a lottery jackpot on flashy jewelry. I already live in a nice (not lavish) home on water and plan to sell it to move into something smaller, not because I need the extra money I could free up from the equity as much as that I hate having to deal with the upkeep and the housecleaning of this l
