Lucky and unlucky Scratch-off ticket numbers
Thank you Matt!
I'll try the gas stations but just do once and done. The Hess gas stations/mini marts seem to have the machines installed in quite a few. Some still
sell tickets at the counter. I like seeing the number of the ticket and lean more toward the stores where they have the ticket displays. The machines
just don't give the edge (or the feeling of having the edge..lol) because you just can't see what's coming out before you put your money in it. If

What is the Highest you won off Instants??
Back in April of this year, I won $10,000 on the Illinois Lotteries $5 $75,000 Crossword instant. The ticket
is still taped to the lottery machine at the Shell station where I won it. I may ask the owner if I can
have it when he takes it down.... I buy enough tickets there. I'll post it here if he does.
BTW, when I cashed it in, after taxes, it came to $7,200. 25% federal, 3% state.
Prior to that, in November of 2007 I won $5000 on a $3 Candy Cane crossword instant. That wi

If you want to claim jackpot anonymously, how do you sign the back of the ticket?
The information below is from the Missouri Lottery FAQ page. Some of it applies only to Missouri, but a lot of it applies anywhere - and makes a lot of sense.

Do all of your numbers match those drawn? Sit down and take a few deep breaths your life may never be the same again. However, before you shout your good news from the rooftop or quit your job, do some serious thinking and go through the following 10 steps:

Lucky and unlucky Scratch-off ticket numbers
Hey!! Super win on the JumboBucks Matt!! I haven't seen any action lately from those...not even a $5 win. I think I have definitely made my mind up.
This release is a JUNK release. I'm avoiding them. The older ones are by far, better.
wow, but the BWS....I'm not sure about them either. I haven't seen them laying on piles of turned in tickets (at my local store, they just pile up
the tickets next to the machine....ones I see more of are the $250,000 for life - $10 ticket and the Fantasti

What's with NY Sweet Million??
Although QP's yeild the most jackpot winners, I'm not a fan of them and I dont usually buy them. I once got a Take5 Free Play with 4 numbers in sequence. Prior to that, I had sent an Ask the Lottery E-mail to them asking if there was ever a drawing where 5 numbers in sequence were drawn in the entire history of Take5. (Their answer was it has never happened.) I then sent a second e-mail asking if 4 numbers in sequence had ever been drawn in the same drawing. They answered that it had happened 3

LOL!
This brings good and bad thoughts to mind.
It used to be that on ticket number 022 on ANY of them, I didn't win ANYTHING AT ALL. No matter which game, which price, which day of the
week, etc, etc, etc......never won a darn dime on 022. It got so bad I hated getting an 022 ticket.
Until just lately....I bought one of the new $20 tickets....Cash Fever I think it's called and won on a red number (which doubles the prize shown)
It revealed $50 so I won $100. I was SHOCKED! Not at

Stroker of the day award.
We often play at a grocery store, at the service counter. The people in this sotre are pretty good, they print out the MidDay results right away and always have playslips for all games available.
Sometimes we encounter a stroker who, despite the playslips, wants to stroke the clerk and tell them the numbers, and these people are always playing multiple games.
The store finally put a sign up that more than three sets of Pick 3 or Pick 4 must be filled out on a playslip.
But the stroker o

4-time Texas lotto winner rich with money, mystery
The odds that Joan Ginther would hit four Texas Lottery jackpots for a combined nearly $21 million are astronomical. Mathematicians say the chances are as slim as 1 in 18 septillion that's 18 followed by 24 zeros.
Just as unlikely? Getting to know one of the luckiest women in the world.
She wants her privacy, friend Cris Carmona said.
On a $50 scratch-off ticket bought in this rural farming community, Ginther won $10 million last month in her biggest windfall yet. But it was the fourth

Mistake on lottery ticket would have won $30M jackpot
Player voids mistake ticket, but it turned out to be the winner
A St. John's lottery player may have saved a dozen dollars while cancelling an overcharged lottery ticket, but missed out on a $30 million jackpot.
A customer at the Corner Store, a convenience store in the Goulds neighbourhood of St. John's, ordered a $12 ticket on May 21, leading up to that night's Atlantic Lottery Lotto Max jackpot.
The [clerk] printed it off and made a mistake on the machine, and it came out $27. She o
