I watched today's midday drawing for the numbers in NY. If you are familiar with the presentation, the machines revolve then stop in front of the announcer, who then announces the digits when they pop up. In the first ball machine the digit 6 popped up and the announcer took about four seconds to say s-i-x. Leaving out the human element as to some employee favoring a specific set of balls in their locked ball cabinets.
