Oh, CollegeLad09, don't hate that fact; something would be wrong if you didn't feel that 'euphamistic way' and purchased lottery tickets anyhow. Eat your heart out? lol! That would be like a Tide commercial dissing Gain Detergent. They compete in a sense but are both owned by Procter Gamble as the two major lotteries are ran by the MUSL. I think in time, history will reflect that PB will produce more jackpots and Mega Millions will maintain the record of having more of the larger jackpots. I've read your posts of $1 for 1 ticket per draw many time so what I posted wasn't meant for you. I stopped playing PB when its price changed to $2 so I know I wouldn't play any lottery that charged $5 a line. I simply stated increasing prices and limiting payouts have been tried before in my state and failed. Any game has to find a market large enough to support it to be successful. I play always even small jackpots, because if there are more players like in really big ones, so there might be multiple winners too, reducing your share of money. I do prefer tax free european games. 90 million EUR won here is 116 million USD after taxes. Sounds little but is more than Jack Whittaker got in USA, until those 500-700 million Powerball jackpots are won by one people in reality too. There is winner anonomity too in Europe.

I it would nice to see that happen. I guess the tickets start at $5 and the starting jackpot would be 80 to 100 million to start with. I would try it. According to the list I maintain, it is correct. I only list jackpots that are won. For example, the previous Powerball jackpot was large enough to make the list but was not included because it was not won. The current Powerball jackpot is only $0.6 million behind 5th place. It will most likely reach 5th place by draw time. To find the list, search for Mario's largest jackpots . Good luck.
