Another high second prize payout for PB!!
That's the same argument put forward against playing birthday numbers, not that you won't win a jackpot but if you do, you might has to share it with other winners. Myself, never having won a lottery jackpot feel it is better to have won a lottery jackpot and shared it then to have never won a lottery jackpot at all.RJOh

The only people that are getting upset about these multi-wins are the losers. When the outcome is truly random, anything can happen.RJOh

Breaking The MM CODE
ify911,Looks like you're trying to do what some other posters have been trying to do in the Maddogs and Pigskin challenges. So far no one has come up with all 5 winning numbers in a group of 10-18. Good luck.RJOh

bubbathebunny1,If you already has your basic wheel in a text file such as:numbers: 2 4 5 6 7.wheeled: 245-246-247-256-257-267-456-457-467-567.You can use the find/replace options in a text file editor such as Notepad to exchange the numbers in your file since you're not concerned about a straight hit.RJOh

Breaking The MM CODE
It caught my eye. Some years ago there was a guy in the U.K. that claimed he had broken a lottery code and there were a theory or code of randomness that was as advanced by a LP poster selling the program LotoSych which tried to synchronize with the randomness of a lottery using its last three drawings and pick the next winner. As far as I know neither ever won a jackpot, but I'm alway interested when anyone brings up the subject.RJOh

The Math and The Lottery
John,As I mentioned in my earlier post even being able to improve their odds by 40% during 65% of the drawings doesn't interest the average lottery player but it would be interesting to have software available that would look for such long term scenarios and display the percent of improvement, it might come in handy for pool players.RJOh

Texas Lottery jackpot mess has critics enraged
If sales are down 26% from last year, then it shouldn't be hard to figure that the amount of money for prizes would be down 26% too. TLC had a chance to check their estimates with the actual figures after each drawings and should have adjusted their future estimates accordingly. If they were trying to really be honest, they would have error on lower side of the actual amount, but that probably would reduced sales even further.RJOh
