what if two winners won the lottery
Do you mean two people sharing one ticket?
Not sure if this question has relevance as very few states allow MM winner to stay anonymous.

$58.6M Powerball lottery ticket sold in Pennsylvania
Actually, near Christmas 2000 or 20002, someone in the District of Columbia won the POWERBALL JACKPOT having used their own number series, at a store in South West Washington. I remember because I emailed the Powerball headquarters about it, for more detailed information. The winner remained anonymous, but the reps did elaborate as much as possible for the public knowledge. It wasn't hundreds of millions but it was a very big kitty just the same. No one has won in the District since then. But I

Judge rules Washington lottery winners can't be anonymous
But I contend that we do not yet know if the anonymous claim through a corporation a few weeks ago will actually be successful. That claim was less than a month ago. The trust claim in this news item was ten months ago. Until the judge ruled on this case, we had no way of knowing whether a trust or a corporation would have a better chance. Both are legal entities. Give the lottery office some time. I'll bet the names behind the corporation will come out, too.

Judge rules Washington lottery winners can't be anonymous
ONLY in Washington State right now would this happen... Mainly due to the current Governor that is in office. SHe has allowed so many wrong doings to go on, just wondering if perhaps she is getting some type of kick back off this as well as all the others that you hear about. If the REAL Governor was in office (DINO) this never would have been allowed to happen. This si the only state I am aware of that you cannot remain anonymous when you win a lottery. If I ever do win, I do not want people to

__Lotto & Lottery?
My favorite is Mega Millions. I play both Powerball and Mega Millions, but MM has a better payout compared to their advertised annuity jackpot. So if I have to choose, I choose the the largest jackpot at the time. But if both are the same, I choose MM even though I can not remain anonymous according to their rules.
Correct me, anyone, if I am wrong.

Church rejects donation from lottery winner
A church, like anyone else, has the right to choose where they knowingly get money from. This church has chosen not to put the sparkle of the dollar ahead of their principles.
An alternative for the lottery winner is to spread the donations around to several other churches with smaller anonymous donations. Spread it around. Smaller inner city churches often need money for the basics such as building repairs and for outreach programs which help the local community.

Why do you play the lottery?
I marked none of the above.
If I were to win, I would continue to work. I am confident that through my current business ventures that I will have continued financial independence (financial security is the lowest rung on the financial status ladder...I always aim high). There are only a few certain expensive things I like so I would never meet the same fate as one David Edwards. I just want to be known as another anonymous jackpot winner who has the freedom to do what he likes when he likes,

$196M Ohio lottery winner trying to claim anonymously?
Obvously some one not enchanted with their current environment; fmaily, neighbors, friends. I wonder if they are going to move and talk to no one. You can't remain anonymous and show up with $196M at the country club. How do I have $196M to spend and not move on up to the luxury world? I don't. Gimmie the winning ticket and I am at the door the next working day with a smile in my face. I want those computers in Las Vegas to know who the rich guy is!

4 charged in killing of $250,000 lottery winner in Ohio
Having an option to remain anonymous when winning $250,000 doesn't help much when he probably told his 18 year-old dinner date who happened to be a thief. We can say he should have known better because he had been burglarized before, but apparently he didn't.
It's a sad story but when a 78 year-old man who lives alone, wears a Rolex, drives a Jag, and dates 18 year-old, painted a target on his back.
