Self picks have the same chance of winning as QPs, but many more QPs are sold and why the majority of jackpot winners are QPs. Because the tickets are bought before the drawing, there is no way of knowing which ticket if any will match the drawing. I'm not sure if the word luck really describes how difficult it is for one ticket to match the one combination out over a quarter billion. Dang! Every time somebody starts spouting BS (especially someone halfway around the world) about our MM and PB being rigged, will get a rise out of me. This from a guy that doesn't know odds from a horse's behind. Then he says he's gonna kick my butt in jackpots games. Really???

Many play for the higher jackpot amounts. I personally rarely play the lower odd games, even though the chance to win is greater, because of the lower prize amounts. Do not misunderstand, I certainly wouldn't mind a $2.2 million US win, however I limit my gambling funds therefore choose to play for a higher risk versus reward. You got a point there with more balls .....higher odds BUT I will debunk that in comparing then South-African Pb with the Australian Pb......we have a cycle that no jackpots will go for 1 or 2 months and then we eventually get a jackpot winner.
