Low Powerball Jackpots.
I voted for more states. Why? Look at the sales figures on LottoReport. For a JackPot of 10 mil, the average sales is about 11 mil. That is not a large margin of error so-to-speak. If they have a jackpot winner plus all the small winners, they are coming dangerously close to losing money. They can't increase the jackpot without increasing sales (more states) or decreasing the players chances of winning. Personally, I don't want them making it any more difficult to win (adding more numbers

What if someone asks you if you won??
Yeap, I am the one, dphillips, who is obsessed with privacy. Of course, I would lie and tell people (other than this post) that I did not win the lottery. Frankly speaking, it is none of their business, anyway! Here are some answers (if you must talk to those losers) you might want to consider:1. You sued years ago and have won the lawsuit! 2. A rich aunt/uncle left you a windfall in their will and you are speechless!3. You made profitable stock investments: Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Proctor G

It is not a formula and therefore cannot be directly translated into a program. There may be programs to create wheels using a formula but I understand that these wheels are not o

Statistics, weighting and scope....
my problem is twofold...1. including stats with no reason for them being there2. not backtesting due to complexity of pick generationI have fixed #1... I just have MODE, Mean, Average and Forecast now, both full history and optimized last 5-10 draws... AND I have finally concocted a backtest sheet that I am still working on to see how this complex pick method has done over time AND to develop an error-correction mask for the overall pick. I have to test friday (M6) and Saturday (PB) but I finall

Only Odd Numbers
Dragon -As I stated in my response, there are 177,100 possibilities in a 6/49 drawing that will contain only the available 25 odd numbers, the same as if you were drawing to a 6/25 lottery. If even numbers only are desired, there are 134,596 possibilities, the same as in a 6/24 drawing. As far as your original formula and number are concerned, I now think I have a handle on how it was derived and the flaw contained therein. You stated there is a skip of a number, yielding a formula of (25*24*24*23

Hi Lucky,I believe since I've noticed some consternation, that all of us should state in some form what we are doing. I for one have a bad habit of using Midday or Evening when I'm splitting the same matrix cluster. This causes questions and problems of my integrity. Some of you know how and the way that I play and once in a while I mention an error if it is wrong. I mention this because I don't deliberately take credit when it's not due. So, if we got together on this one issue and stated what

Buying more tickets = reduced odds
This is the last I'm going to post on this topic: My point is that the odds stated for a lottery game compare two quantities of the same kind; 1:120,000,000 is a comparison of one ticket combination out of 120,000,000 ticket combinations. The odds are expressed in a ratio. The mathematical rule for a ratio is that it is expressed in its lowest terms. So we are mistaken when we express the purchase of 2 tickets as changing the odds to 2:120,000,000. To do so violates the mathematical rule, t

something wrong with lottosync v1.6 ?
I don't have a problem with creative effort - I encourage it. I do have a problem when qualifications are bandied around to support Systems. As far as I am concerned you can be studying to be a sex worker or garbage collector (male, female or non-gender, of course) and have as much credibility. (One of the things I like about the Lottery Post is that letters after your name are not paraded.)We all make mistakes and sometimes just have to ditch what we've done because of some fatal error even tho

Good News Improvements to the Maps
Pattern map just got better fromposts starting the 4/29 DoingCalif. created the frustration Ineeded to expand my options.Byreversing the order of computationsI able to obtain missing number clusters.Trials will be performed in Pa.What I have learned is alternationbetween what is frequent and what isnot frequent. The clusters or pairsare still the key to staying abreastwith predictions. Thanks Calscorpfor words of encouragement.Althoughta lot of numbers are seen in my postthose are various calculat

Store clerk accused of stealing lottery winnings
In Virginia, players cannot scan their own tickets. However, Todd is right, there are sounds and messages to look for. Virginia's machines do the following:For prizes $25 and less, the prize amount shows on the customer display (e.g. You are a Winner! $5.00 ). Players can also request a printed receipt. For prizes from $26 to $600, the prize amount will not display, but a winner message will display (e.g. You are a Winner! Ask for Receipt) and a customer receipt will also print automatically.Fo
